Extremely frustrated with 1p

I went live with 1p Broadband around 3 weeks ago now. Since going live, the broadband will only work in 1 or 2 rooms downstairs. Doesn't work what so ever upstairs or in the back garden & I live in a small, semi detached house. So there shouldn't be any issue. I also signed up for the 900Mbs service. However, after running multiple speed tests I'm not even receiving more than 15Mbs to the router which is ludicrous when I'm contracted for a diff speed & paying £27.99 a month!

I have tried to call their ''support'' number to speak to the tech team, multiple times in the last 2/3 weeks to get this looked at. Every time I call, no matter what time of the day. The number just rings & rings & rings. No one ever picks up! I then spoke to someone on live chat, who assured me someone would call me that day before 12pm. NO ONE called me. I've also emailed. Which I've had NO response too, it's been almost a week since I emailed. I got on live chat again yesterday. Furious at this point that this has been ongoing for 3 weeks & someone from the tech team finally called me back a few hours later. However at this point I was at work.

I work 9-5 every day, like 99% of the people in this country & 1p Broadband are only open between 9-5. They don't offer ANY support outside of office hours nor on the weekends. It's ridiculous. You'd think the tech team would do out of office hours, because how the hell can they offer tech support to people at work & not at home to look at the router / fiddle with it where necessary whilst talking to Tech. Anyway after the conversation with the tech team. She advised she made some changes (she split the bands) & I should notice a difference when I get home. It's made absolutely no difference what so ever. She also advised that I haven't even been put on the Fibre to the property & I've been put on Fibre to the box or something. Which is NOT what I signed up for & someone would call me. No one has called me & once again I'm now in a battle of the phone never being picked up when I call them! I've had no reply to my email & now I can't speak to anyone. Live chat refer me to Tech, who call when I'm at work. So what now?

I have cancelled my direct debit & I will NOT be paying a single penny until this is sorted. I'm sure, once they realise they're not receiving payments, they'll then no doubt be chasing for that. SORT IT OUT 1P BROADBAND. Because this is unacceptable & if this continues, I will be going to the ombudsman. You're making it impossible for me to speak to anyone & I am not going to pay for a service that I am not receiving.

So far so good

Only a month in but very happy so far! Fixed price for 2 years with NO sneaky annual 'retail price index' increases (what a joke!).

Smooth transition from previous supplier who was EE (and 1p is owned by EE - who knew!).

Definitely worth a look if you are considering a switch however I cannot rate the customer service which is important with broadband as I have not had to contact them.

In conclusion, get a quote and see what you think (p.s. genuine review with no incentive whatsoever).

Been waiting for broadband for over 3…

Been waiting for broadband for over 3 weeks now, sent emails and been told to ring 0333 number who either immediately cut you off or leave it ringing for a while then cut you off, technician came a week before the box, lights keep flashing but nothing is working

Works fine

Works fine, as I would expect. Communication was brilliant. Price is brilliant. Price fixed for two years is brilliant. The only downside was the set up instructions could have been clearer.
Overall, very pleased

Seamless process

Seamless process. I filled a few details in and the rest went like clockwork. Took delivery of router- and broadband was activated on the day specified. Better speed than predicted.

Reliable service and easy switch!

I decided to switch to 1P Broadband is because they do not increase their price during the duration of the contract which I think it is a great selling point. The switch process is really easy even though I haven't got a live phone line. The service went alive on the promised date (01/03/24) and it has been so far so good. I would definitely recommend their service.

Had 1p broadband for 3 days however I kind of havnt I think its of more than on constant buffering with blue circle and going to something went wrong please try again later . Yes this was a big mistake wish I had gone with now broadband never had this with them but I moved to new house and thought I would try these. Whist waiting for this fibre broadband I tethered to giffgaff mobile £25 unlimited with several devices . It never dropped once in 3 weeks . So clearly we are being ripped of again by services . Ripp of Britain again deserves the name . Only been 3 days so can find another provider and cancel this unfit for purpose service

previously I had normal broadband…

previously I had normal broadband service from this company, about a year ago I decided to improve this service to fibre, this I very much regret I am paying for Netflix which nowadays I do not get to watch because 1p broadband cannot appear to connect to, I have also lost the ability to correctly centre the g mail pages on the screen. I give up,sadly unless they sort this mess out I will be forced to find another provider.
