Great service! - after 2 weeks' service: better speed, better router, completely straightforward and seamless transfer to 1pBroadband from a previous lifetime with BT, but for a fraction of the price. Excellent comms, very slick process. THANK YOU!
Impossible to leave as being ignored
I've been with 1p broadband for several years without any issues until late 2024 when I started getting drop outs. After investigating I found that 1p go through Talk Talk.
Anyway in march 2025 I decided to leave and here the real problems started.
They don't answer the phone, They don't reply to emails and they disconnect themselves from live chat while you're waiting for a reply yet they claim good customer service.
I'll update this should I ever get through to them.
Update:
Trust pilot must have notified them as I've just had a reply on the same day as posting the above review.
I've been informed that they require 5 days notice, so I'll be disconnected on the 6/4/25 which is one day after my next billing date, huh.
I'm assuming that they will take another months payment and make me fight to get it back but then again they may not.
Last Update.
Yes they did try and take another payment but I was one step ahead and warned my CC company who thankfully understood the situation and blocked them.
So 1p requested that I returned their many years old modem to them at my expense probably so they could put it in the bin themselves.
So here the saga ends.

Replacement router
Had to turn my power off to do a job, when checking clocks etc found my router light had turned red and the internet was not working, did all the obvious checks with no results. Rang 1P (answered on the second ring) and explained. The helpful adviser said this router was susceptible to power surge problems and she would be sending a replacement. A new router (different brand) arrived the following day and I was up and running again within an hour.
Thanks 1P for the brilliant service.

Totally Rubbish Services avoid this company
i order new connection firstly receive router after 5 days and now i am using over 6 days there is multiple time a day disconnection problem- slow speed call customer support that is really worse they do not care send them cancelation request but there is no reply, its totally rubbish service can not be recommended any one

Spoke to the customer service team BEFORE switching as I have always had a problem with internet at my house (thick walls apparently) to be told not a problem we can do XYZ just like your previous supplier , go live date arrives , issues begin as expected , phoned up to he told no you should never have been given that information , you’re stuck now for 18months and the money you’ve save you’ve got to spend , plus more, on extra equipment to get the bare minimum of internet speeds ! Can’t cancel either without incurring a huge fee! Don’t get a reply via email after initial complaint and no answer on the phones , think twice about signing up they’re a tiny company with no idea or skills , calls not recorded so can’t even find out who gave the miss information ,

Switching over from BT was a breeze as router arrived 3 days before and occured at midnight. Since the switch 17 days ago the service is as good as the previous provider but slightly improved wi-fi signal strength with the wi-fi 6 router supplied. Just done a speed check on my Samsung A34 and hit 64mps and 54 MPs on my 4 year old Samsung tablet which is way better speed on mobile devices and at half the cost. Also switched to 1p Broadband with an eye on FTTP prices as the service is in our area shortly.

The move over went fine
The move over went fine, my issues were when I found out my original supplier had not received any notification of the move. This means I have a further bill
to pay, and I have 2 Broadband deals running side by side. I had to give my previous supplier 30 days notice, despite have a email from 1p telling they would deal with everything. I have also tried several emails plus on several occasions trying to phone with no pickup or reply. Not a good start. I have layed off giving this review giving 1p chance to reply with no luck. I have now been with 1 P for several months, unfortunately the same. Broadband drops sometimes twice a day sometimes every 2 days, fed up keep turning router on and off. This is despite several phone calls and engineer visit, still the same. Never had so bad broadband. Never again looking at cutting my losses and moving. In a word Terrible.

Great router provided and 1gbit service reaches the full speed as advertised with Ethernet and get around 800mbit with the WiFi 6 router. Transfer day mid Jan was seamless.

Poor customer service not customer focused do not keep to there word on the date they gave use and you phone they answer and say hold we will put you through it rings then you get cut off to start all over again and it’s the same as before so you make a complain to wait and wait it’s dreadful experience and took over 6 weeks to get phone and internet.end October to Mid December
The transfer was easy
The transfer was easy, all done by 1p and so no hassle, except from my old supplier TalkTalk who kept phoning & texting me to stay with them - I ignored them all.
1p broadband is faster and telephone calls much much cheaper. All good.
Mostly good
Generally good connection. Occasionally disconnects but normally comes back online within an hour.
Quick, reliable and cheaper
Quick easy install. Better router and service than sky BT etc and getting getter more reliable connection. Its also cheaper.
