Schlechter Service .....

Meiner Meinung nach, schlechte Kommunikation, schlechter Service, am Telefon nicht zu erreichen, Unfreundlich und lässt schlechte Rezessionen bei Google löschen! Wenn dann beim NL Shop kaufen.
Probleme mit Zündverteiler Ford Pinto 2.0 da 2 Nebenwellen zerfressen. Erst "kann nicht sein, wir haben schon Hunderte verkauft", danach "keine Zeit", dann Funkstille und abschließend habe ich mein Eigentum zurück gefordert. Rezession bei Google geschrieben, die die Firma löschen lies, angeblich wegen "Verleumdung".
Bin mittlerweile sehr aktiv mit dem Hersteller am schreiben um das Problem zu erkennen und gegeben Falls für spätere Kunden zu behen.
Dabei wollte ich nur wissen was es ein könne!
Mittlerweile habe ich den 123 Verteiler auf die originale Verzahnung umgebaut, da das System einfach TOP ist.

Das muss man sich nicht gefallen lassen ....

Fahre seit Jahrzehnten einen Oldtimer mit einem 123 Zündverteiler seit ca. 15 Jahren.
Derzeit suche ich nach der Ursache von Zündaussetzern. Hatte die alte Zündspule in Verdacht, sodass ich bei der Vertriebsgesellschaft Erik Frenken & Anke Verheyen Gbr Heinsberg eine neuen beschafft hatte.
Die Zündprobleme waren leider damit nicht gelöst.
Bei der weiteren Fehlersuche fiel ein nicht nachvollziehbarer Ohm-wert auf .
Diesen wollte ich bei dem Lieferanten klären.
Das danach folgende Telefonat war gelinde gesagt unterirdisch.
Zuerst musste ich mich erklären warum und mit welcher Berechtigung ich überhaupt frage.
Bin ich ein Kunde, das wurde erstmals überprüft.
Dabei wurde festgestellt das der Zündverteiler nicht direkt bezogen wurde, sonder über einen Clubkollegen in mein Eigentum kam. Nun wurde nach dem Namen des Clubkollegen gefragt.
Hallo geht´s noch !!
Schon mal was von Datenschutz gehört !
Dann wurde ausführlich erklärt das ja Jeder Fragen könnte.
Heißt die Service Nummer ist ausschließlich für Direktkunden ?!
Nach einigen Minuten war die Dame am Telefon bereit meine Frage weiterzuleiten.
Ein Herr hatte mir darauf sehr schnell zu verstehen gegeben das er keine Lust empfindet mit mir zu telefonieren, und den Hörer aufgelegt.

Soll jeder potenzielle Kunde prüfen ob man sich so was gefallen lassen möchte.
Wenn nicht, es gibt gute alternative Produkte,
oder man wendet sich gleich an den Vertrieb in Holland.

Ist der Laden dauerhauft geschlossen?

Verteiler mit nicht mal 9000km zur Reparatur vor 3 Wochen eingeschickt. Seitdem keine Reaktion auf E-Mails. Telefonisch ebenfalls nicht erreichbar. Stattdessen aber eine prompte Reaktion auf eine schlechte Bewertung unter Google. Da wurde dann angezeifelt dass man dort überhaupt Kunde ist. Sowohl aus Deutschland als auch aus Holland. Genauso vergrellt man Kunden.

Leider bekomme ich zu meiner Reklamation seit 1 Monat keine vernünftige Information!

Leider bekomme ich zu meiner Reklamation keine kurzfristige Information. Meine Mails vom 31.01.2025, 07.02.2025, 12.02.2025, 17.02.2025 und 24.02.2025 verbesserte meine Reklamation auch nicht. Es kann natürlich sein, dass auch ein Neuteil einen Defekt hat, kein Problem! Dann sollte aber auch die Reklamation funktionieren. Ich bin eine ausführende Oldtimer Werkstatt die Termine einhalten muss, noch dazu bei einem Fahrzeug, dass für Werbung beruflich verwendet wird, wie 123 Ignition mitgeteilt. Eine Antwort: wir haben momentan wenig Kapazität! ist für 1 Monat an Zeit nicht ausreichend von 123 DEUTSCHLAND! mit der Bitte um Rücküberweisung wurde auch nicht reagiert!mfG T.Rab, OldtimerCenterVienna

Superb Product, best value modification I’ve come across.

I’ll start with the product, I found it superb. I bought the 123tune+, the Bluetooth programmable one, connected out of the box and the app is quite good. I’ve installed it on my 1960 TR3 and it’s transformed the car. I spent a really enjoyable day developing the rpm and vacuum advance curves and using the real time dashboard was able to optimise the curves on a real rolling road, the N11😆. That said it the car started and ran with the standard basic tune the device comes with. 5 stars.
In terms of service, I ordered the stuff on a Tuesday (Ireland) and it arrived on the Friday, free shipping, I think that’s superb service. So what’s it like if you have problems? I don’t know but the indications to my eye are good for the company.

123 ignition, mark it "zero"!

Unfortunately, FORGET ABOUT IT!
There is no customer service since they do not answer the phone, email, mail or fax. Since the car was not running with their coil, I tried to contact them... no reacton whatsoever.
After returning the coil, NO REACTION, NO MONEY BACK.
Will have to consider legal steps.

To avoid that, buy somewhere else, there are numerous sources for ignition parts.

Update:
After sending numerous faxes a call was received after all that time stating, the coil was defective and will be replaced.
So that is the one and only positive aspect to that.

Interesting fact: My messages have allegedly not been received, whereas I must also state not having received any reaction on my inquieries and the return.
So what is going on? I do not care, first and last interaction, especially after that friendly call. Sorry 123...

123 ignition - brilliant customer service, brilliant product.

Having read the only review for 123, and it being negative, i thought i should at least write my own, to counter it.
Having had nothing but good experiences with 123, especially when i got stuck and had to text the help line, they bent over backwards to assist me, and even though it was an error on my part, got me back up an running in no time.
The distributer works flawlessly, and not only gives me the added confidence of no pints/condenser, but as i have the blutooth version, it allows me to immobilise the car simply through a function of the app.
I have no hesitation in recommending 123 - and will be looking to buy another for my other classic - all though the prices seem to have gone up a little...
Don't let one bad review put you off.

I also paired mine with a flame thrower coil, and a winterburn capacitive discharge system - allowing me to open my iridium plug gaps by a considerable amount. Its never ran better!

I can not comment on the product as I do not have the car running but the company and customer support is dismal to say the least. The central spring pin in the distributor cap was broken, I noticed it when removing the cap to check the direction of the rotor again, there was a foreign object laying in the distributor which I removed and found it was part of the distributor cap pin. I put no undue pressure on the cap when placing it on the distributor apart from rotating it into place. Bear in mind this is a brand new distributor, I didn't check the distributor after removing from the packaging but noticed the staple in the packaging was not holding the package together and I would hold my hands up if I felt I was at fault.

I re-ordered a new cap and proceeded to write to the company, I told them the circumstances and mentioned I would be adding a Google review. They replied accusing me of blackmail, they could be in no way responsible as all their products are perfect and that they do not care about my review. I mentioned that I would add that to the review and said they were quite arrogant with their response. They then cancelled my order for a replacement distributor cap that I had paid for and had been dispatched to UPS without notice. I now have a 123ignition distributor and no cap, I take it they see this as payback.

They also mention that they mention "There are always people out there trying to blackmail us with negative feedback". This show that I am not the only customer with a problem with this company but possibly the only one that took the time to publish my complaint.

Hi,
I am a little concerned in how fragile the distributor cap is in regards to the rotor connector.
I had fitted the distributor cap two or three times for fitment and testing and also to avoid any debris falling into the distributor.
I had not got to the position of fitting the HT leads and had removed the cap to find the part sitting in the bottom of the distributor.
My car is a 1961 Jaguar, I have taken my time with this installation, being careful and trying to retain the look of the original, it took me two days installing the HT leads in trying to achieve a good look with the trunking kit.
Over my years, the car being the same age as me, I have removed hundreds of distributor caps, replacing points and never had a distributor cap break on me, even under the circumstance of removing the cap with the leads attached and accessing distributors that are in hard to reach locations.
My concern is that if I ever have to remove the cap with the leads on it is more difficult to line the cap up and risk is then high that the part will break. Also during driving the rotor arm puts a lot of force on the cap connector and I am now worried this might break during driving at higher revs.
This electronic ignition may work out expensive for me if I am having to spend 60.45 E each time the cap breaks.
This is also going to be my Google review on dealing with 123ignition.

Dear Adrian,

the distributor cap is not more fragile than any other distributor cap. We've sold thousands (with distributors and single) of them and they have been proven to be as good as all caps on earth.
Sometimes it is sufficient to put the cap not totally straight onto the distributor to break the pin in the middle. For sure it doesn't break by itself.
Consider this when writing Google reviews. There are always people out there trying to blackmail us with negative feedback. We don't care, we know of our quality material and service-wise.
