We could not be happier with the service, ideas, workmanship and help we have had from Kim at Wickes who designed our new kitchen and Carl & Adam who expertly fitted it with superb attention to detail. Had new shower room and toilet fitted, purchased from wickes, starting with Kim designing it all, John getting his team together with Alex ripping everything out and prepping for plasterer Scott, tiler simon, lecky jim, and then John and Alex added the finishing touches, Kim kept in touch all the way and was helpful, we are well pleased. And all the rubbish was cleared away.😎

Went to buy a new kitchen Rays service was outstanding patience with a smile ( unlike Blackpool branch who couldn’t be bothered to serve us so we went to Preston ) as we really liked the kitchen Ray couldn’t do enough for you a brilliant representation of wickes thank you very much we now know who to visit for future kitchen contracts we will be back

Kim our Kitchen Designer has been nothing but amazing going above and beyond. Kim has had a great deal of patience along with providing great recommendations and advice. You can clearly see how passionate Kim is as this is reflected in her work and lovely friendly manner. Thank you so much, we really appreciate all your help and cannot wait to see our kitchen installed!

We used Wickes to supply and fit our new Kitchen
Kim who designed the kitchen was absolutely fantastic with her plan and advice we can not fault the service we received from start to finish.
Our fitter was Andrew (AJM Joinery) and could not do enough for us.
We wanted a extra radiator this was no problem

We opted to use Wickes to supply our new kitchen. The advice and general service provided by our lead contact & kitchen designer Kimberley Balch was of the highest level. Kim was with us through every step of the way, from our first visit to Wickes Preston store, to visiting our home to take measurements to helping tweak the design to leave us with exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, any email queries we had were always responded to promptly and we never felt pressurised. Kim showed a genuine enthusiasm to help us achieve just what we wanted. The end result is amazing. The new units, worktops & appliances are top quality. We would certainly recommend Kim and the Wickes Preston team to anyone considering a new kitchen.

Don't deal with this store. Kimbereley in the Preston store promised me perosnally she would make sure that contractors would not drive across our lawn. When I reported to Wickes that they had repeatedly done this and driven over plants, she said there was nothing she could do about that and that I could phone a customer experience centre. If you make a specific promise to a customer, take responsibilty for it.

USE THIS COMPANY WITH CAUTION.

We had our bathroom fitted in May 2024 and are still having issues with leaks.

The toilet was not fitted correctly and leaked sewerage into our dining room with each flush. The fitting has been resolved but rectification of the damage to the ceiling and decorating is outstanding.

The shower has 2 issues. It floods the bathroom as it does not drain the water away properly and it also leaks into the room below. This has caused the ceiling to become unstable so we have had to pay for it to be removed. Having removed the ceiling and also paying for an independent report to be completed (at the request of Wickes) it is clearly an installation issue as the pipe work drains uphill.

We were promised by Kimberely, our Wickes designer that any issues would be sorted out promptly and we shouldn’t sign the job off with customer care until we were satisfied. We haven’t signed it off but someone at Wickes has signed it off for us!! This has triggered the finance and also means we are unable to speak directly to anyone in customer care, all communication is by email only.

It is now 5 months since this bathroom was installed and Wickes have done very little to resolve the issues leaving us with a bathroom and dining room in disrepair.

I would not recommend Wickes to anyone.

Expert advice and a powerful planning tool quickly delivered my requirements. Got me a good price and quick delivery too.

I ordered my kitchen from Wickes. Kimberly was my designer and wow she was just the best. she organized everything that i could want. she even found cheaper fittings that i wanted. she was at the other end of the phone every time i needed her. i have had a fitted kitchen done by B&Q i found this stressful as i had no one to talk to about faults or just to change anything. Wickes surprised me as nothing was too much trouble and kimberly was there at any point.
The fitters were quick, thorough and very very professional. i can not say enough over this team, they were amazing. Malcolm was there every day on time and his work is one of the best i have seen.
I can highly recommend wickes.

Well, what can I say? Wickes at Preston completely exceeded my expectations on both customer service, and overall workmanship.
We had a ‘corner’ of the kitchen that needed renovating. To be fair, it was only a ‘small job’ compared to a full kitchen refit. But Wickes were absolutely superb from start-to-finish.
Kim Balch at Wickes surveyed and coordinated the project, and was always in contact with updates. Kim was absolutely brilliant, and is a credit to Wickes.
The fitters themselves were efficient, and their quality of workmanship is second-to-none.
We’re so happy, now that we have a sink that doesn’t leak, and a dishwasher that works.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending Wickes for your new kitchen!

Delay in installation due to worktops being delivered 12 days after the kitchen was started. 3 weeks without a working kitchen for a small kitchen. Installers would have completed in a week if it wasn’t for the delay.

Usually buy on line as don't live locally to shops.
Happened to be travelling through Preston so stopped at Wickes to buy a Water Butt.
A week later when I went to fit it I realised the parts bag was open and a part was missing. I phoned the store and was told to come in and get the missing part.
A week later I managed to make a specific trip to Preston store to get the part but was told that I needed the receipt which I didn’t have so left again without the part.
It was a month before I could get back and when I did I explained that I couldn’t find the receipt. I was told that there was nothing they could do despite me explaining the issue.
Out of frustration I ended paying another £6 for a new bag of parts.
So after an extra 52 miles of coming and going plus £6, I eventually got what I originally purchased in the first place.
Won’t be going to Wickes again .

I write this on behalf of my near 80-year-old Mum, who has recently gone through a full kitchen and bathroom installation with Wickes, Preston.
Kim the designer led the way, she was always thoughtful and supportive. Taking time to really help my Mum with what was something she had never been through before. Her customer service is exemplary and she really put my Mum at ease, helping her to clearly understand the process. Kim has always made herself available throughput the two projects, even visiting my Mum on occasions, this has all made the process so much easier, her people skills are superb.
I must now mention the installers, whether this is the bathroom or kitchen, all of them were excellent, and provided great service. Really taking time to understand Mum's needs, being honest with what was achievable and working towards a superb finish for both areas. So, a really big thanks to Mike & son, Dan and all other skills and workmen whom assisted with the bathroom and kitchen.
Overall, I can honestly say on behalf of both myself and my Mum that the whole process was very very good. Customer service is excellent and they are really nice people whose ultimate objective is to provide an exemplary finished service. Well done all at Wickes and installers, and A BIG THANK YOU from Pat & Hugh Ross, super impressed !!!

Ray Lythgoe was excellent. His customer service skills were next to none, he really listened to what we wanted and designed it even better then we could imagine. Thankyou so much for everything!!

Wow - where do I start? From the initial meet and measure up with Kim, to completion of fitting with Jeff... everything was just as we wanted.

Kim allowed us to make the best, informed choice with no pressure. The meetings in store to see what Kim had drawn up for us was amazing. Kim advised us with our options, giving us time to make a final decision. She was there at the end of an email or call to answer any questions we had. Delivery was on time and the men were respectful of our home.

Jeff, our fitter, came and gave us a quote for the fitter. Again, he was able to guide us in what was best with certain aspects. Once the work had started, Jeff kept us in the loop with the progress and any decisions we had to make. He was on time, and worked the whole day... We couldn't believe he was a one-man-band!!! He arranged for the electrician to complete the work alongside him. He completed our kitchen in just short of 2 weeks!

We are over the moon with our kitchen and our choice to go with Wickes and cannot thank the whole team enough!!

Just had the pleasure of working with ray lythgoe designing our dream kitchen . What a lovely man who made us feel at ease with his wealth of knowledge and we’re so excited and can’t wait for our new kitchen to be fitted. I would like to thank Ray he talk to us very calm and friendly about are kitchen he was very helpful with getting the thing we would like in are new kitchen he walk round showing the thing we would be getting in are kitchen and advise us very well he was very professional.When ray came to are home he explained everthing that he was doing.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to the lovely Kimberly in the Kitchen design team at Preston Wickes - what a true example of customer care & service.

She spent a thorough 2 hours with my daughter and I helping to create a beautiful kitchen for her very first home. She was knowledgeable, personable, kind and enthusiastic. She knew we had a very tight budget and worked to get us the best products at the best prices, advising where we could make savings and improve layout. Wickes is very lucky to have such a true professional working for them, she made the whole kitchen design process seemless and pleasurable, and we can’t recommend her enough if you are looking for a designer who cares about the client & the end result.

Miserable / grumpy lady staff at counter - all don’t want to be there. They should get training from B&Q.
