I have visited Wickes in Boston many times but would like to leave positive feedback for an employee called William. He assisted me with an enquiry in such a good natured and pleasant way it has left me wanting to thank him for his patience and knowledge. He is definitely someone that Wickes need to keep.

I purchased a toilet from Boston Wickes a few days ago where they kindly let me look at it before buying. This was to check for any miss shape of the toilet bowl. (I experienced this many years ago) Having forgotten to take a spirit level the toilet look fine when I looked at. The staff were so helpful and even carried the toilet putting it into the boot of my car. Unfortunately when I started fitting the toilet bowl I realised it was distorted, leaning to one corner by about 12-15 mm. I rang the Boston store who asked me to bring it back and they would exchange it. When I got there they were outstandingly helpful allowing me to check the replacement toilet with a spirit level. This time it was pretty well perfect. Again a member of staff kindly took the toilet to my car and loaded it into the boot. The replacement toilet is brilliant by the way.

Justin was very helpful and polite gave a great deal.

Wickes provided a new bathroom plan including all hardware and installation. Installation took over 8 weeks. First shower tray delivered damaged. One shower enclosure glass incorrect as it was for a sliding door, mine was hinged. Other enclosure glass was 160mm too narrow. Their installer however fitted both!!! Vanity cabinet glued to wall rather than use the securing screw supplied! Shower drain fall too shallow so shower can overflow. Wickes declined to inspect and have advised work is to an acceptable standard. I will add that most of these issues are a result of wrong/damaged items delivered however the Wickes installer still fitted them. Be careful if you are in the Boston area and the Wickes installer is TPL renovations. This installer will charge extra for work not undertaken and will take short cuts claiming he is not paid enough by Wickes to take the time to do a good job. Poor standards of client aftercare and quality of work. Only a small bathroom but bill was nearly £11000.00. Will not use Wickes again and definitely will stay clear of TPL renovations.

From start to finish this has been a refreshing experience.Shelley Grogan from the Boston store oversaw every aspect of this project.She was available to contact and answered any queries professionally and efficently. I would recommend for Wickes for your kitchen project and after experiencing an "independent" company and their quality I wouldnt use anyone but Wickes.

Customer service is on point everytime

It's always a good day when at Wickes in Boston and if Emma is working. She is amazing no query too big and the greatest thing is she does everything with a smile.

I booked an appointment through the website and Emily came and saw us on Saturday, she was well prepared, smart, articulate and knowledgeable and no point did we feel under pressure or uncomfortable the whole process was enjoyable

went to purchase worktop kitchen sink taps not sure why they are in 2 different places some upstairs some downstairs also it would be a good idea to have customer toilets.on a positive note we were helped with what we needed by Shelly she was so helpfull friendly and knowledgeable

We recently worked with Wickes on a kitchen design and although we didn’t end up purchasing through Wickes in the end, we felt Shelley Grogan deserved a review for the outstanding service she provided throughout the whole process.

Shelley went above and beyond our expectations from start to finish. She was incredibly friendly, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping us create the best possible kitchen for our home.

The design she produced was fantastic and included ideas and layout suggestions we hadn’t even considered ourselves, which really helped us visualise the space properly.
Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her - she was always happy to answer questions, make amendments and offer honest advice without any pressure. Her communication was excellent throughout and she made what can often feel like a stressful process much easier and more enjoyable.

Even though we chose a different route in the end, the level of customer service Shelley provided absolutely stood out and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking at a kitchen or bathroom project. A real credit to Wickes.

No one turned up, I rang the branch to see where he was and they just said he’s probably running late and there’s no way to find out what time he’s going to turn up. As I’ve received an email thanking me for attending it doesn’t appear that he bothered to report not turning up! Not a great start!

I was extremely stressed as I had been told to complete my kitchen, a wall unit was going to be delivered not before 6th May... using another Wickes store. BUT, I decided to telephone Boston Wickes, a member of staff EMMA, (superstar), went above and BEYOND, to help me. I now have a wall unit located after she telephoned around for me. This person obviously has great customer service skills and should be labelled OUTSTANDING.
Clearly, someone that most people need in times of stress.
