Had a recall on my Cube Kathmandu, took the bike to Wilmslow shop. Extremely helpful. Bike was fixed promptly. I needed a new bell. The chaps installed a new one and wouldn't take any money for it!! Wow I can't hesitate to recommend the electricbikeshop in Wilmslow. After sales is outstanding. Thanks.

My family and I have purchase 3 e-bikes from the Electric Bike Shop Harrogate over the last 3 years. The service and support has been absolutely excellent UNTIL the manager Alex left the shop (and company) and I believe the mechanic went as well. Since then the service has been abysmal as follows:
• The shop is unable to take bookings for the servicing of e-bikes. (I suspect they do not have a mechanic. I have not seen one when visiting)
• The shop takes a long time to respond to emails.
• When calling the shop I am eventually put through to the head office, who state that they will ask the branch to call me, which doesn’t happened
I was considering upgrading my bike with the company soon but I am not so sure now.

Very helpful customer service from Cath helping me through the cyclescheme process from quote to dedelivery. Rich was great when I popped in to collect the bike going through how it all worked and some great advice. Had the option for delivery or collection.

The Nottingham store provided and maintain our bikes. Mark helped us choose the perfect bikes, Chris offers friendly customer service and Nathan is a master of repair. Thanks guys!

Just bought a Cube e-bike from the West Bridgford (Nottingham) store and had a very positive experience. Mark was friendly & helpful and took time to introduce me to the world of e-bikes and find out what might suit me. Very happy so far with my purchase. Thank you.

I orderd a cube mtb. Helmet recently but on receiving my order all i got was an empty box

Went into the shop in Wilmslow to discuss buying two e-bikes. Staff member was friendly and very helpful. Had some extras fitted to the bikes as well. Purchase was smooth. As I was buying two bikes they agreed to deliver locally. Can’t fault them so far. Hopefully the after sales is as
Good.

Jack was very helpful throughout the whole sales process showing us electric folding bikes with pros and cons of brands.
The shop has a good stock range and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.

Perhaps the most astonishingly unhelpful and rude encounter I have had in years. Don’t go to this bizarre place whatever you do. Avoid avoid avoid. There are many bike shops in the battersea area with lovely staff who will go out of their way to help- give you sound advice and can be relied upon (1 on st john’s hill or for electric bikes 1 on east hill.)

Edited in response to the shop’s reply. Nb the shop reported my post as defamatory and the report was rejected. I am free to express my opinions but, on reflection feel that I can make no assumptions about the reasons why the worker I encountered behaved so offensively . It was upsetting and baffling to have to deal with it from someone who is ostensibly employed in a customer service role selling things. I’d still recommend a retreat to the back room to hang out with the spanners until he’s over whatever it is that causes his obstructive, unhelpful and extraordinary attitude to members of the public seeking out his employer’s wares. From my experience he’s certainly not cut out for a life dealing with members of the public.

I was looking for a replacement bosch battery for my bike. I know the shop is a registered supplier. The man I encountered was sneery. Seemed weirdly disappointed that I had had my bike for 3 years without having had the battery stolen before. Wouldn’t help me at all. Seemed keen to put me off at every turn and looked and me and spoke to me like I was some kind of trespasser. I showed him the manufacturer’s spec and was told the battery didn’t exist. (I got it touch with bosch later who - top tip guys - are really quick and helpful - and guess what - it does exist.) I asked if he might be able to assist me by looking at the bosch supply list given that they are a supplier or on their website. But no. Took every opportunity possible to put a spanner in the works of communication - like I had invaded his domain with my weird request for a purchase. Felt slightly reassured that I hadn’t entered a parallel shopping universe when our “shopkeeper of the year” took the time to speak on the phone to another hapless customer (who seemed to have had the audacity to enquire about when their bike might be ready) in a similarly rude manner, only pausing to mansplain the deep problems with oat milk to his colleague.

I’m sure the other shops in the chain are fine but crikey this was comically poor customer service. Stick with the independents I reckon.

I took my electric bike on spec to Harrogate to see if they could help with fixing a trailer I had bought to the axel. Kurt was exceedingly helpful - he listened to my problem - looked at my bike - found a solution - fitted the appropriate piece and did it all with excellent knowledge and customer service. Whenever I have had a problem - I have rung up and they have always been helpful.

Delivery of the bike after 11 working days to the shop I contacted the shop and they had it ready for me the next day. They did a very good hand over in regard to the bike and the different settings, I took my own pedals and they put these on for me while a waited. All Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Online central team ignored WhatsApp warranty video for a year.

"I bought a Haibike AllMtn 3 online from their Central operations. Less than 30 days after receiving the bike, I formally reported severe rotational play in the cassette via WhatsApp and sent clear video proof of the defect. I explicitly warned them at the time that this factory defect would place destructive strain on the rest of the high-torque drivetrain.A year has passed and I have been completely ignored, with absolutely no response to my statutory warranty claim. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, this bike was not of satisfactory quality on delivery. Because the shop ghosted my messages, they are liable for the damage.I have now sent a formal Final Notice email to their central management. I expect a senior manager to contact me immediately to arrange a full repair of the freehub and drivetrain, or I will take this straight to Trading Standards and the Small Claims Court."
Update,
"Thank you for acknowledging receipt of my email and the timestamped WhatsApp evidence. As the manufacturing defect was reported within the first 30 days of delivery, I look forward to receiving a formal proposal from your management team early next week to resolve this statutory claim."

"UPDATE 04/08: Following my escalation, the director has now responded and authorised me to take the bike to a local independent bike shop for a full inspection. I will be submitting the mechanic's report to them this week for the next steps. Glad to see this is finally moving forward."

The bike needed a replacement display. No problem. It was covered by the warranty. It was delivered quickly.
