The facilities were well maintained and clean.
The staff there were amazing and couldn't do enough for us.
The down side was the temperature inside, no air conditioning and no fans on one of the hottest day of the year!!
Come on guys, your poor staff were melting and so were your guests.

Staff was lovely and friendly however karaoke room is not great, mics hardly worked so for that 4 stars

I checked before booking that the venue in Harlow had air con as of the extreme heat. I called and also sent an email, both times I was told they did.

To my shock and disappointment on arrival there was no air conditioning. I asked if it was broken and the bar guy said they don’t have air conditioning. I had already prepaid and booked for 2 games and food as it was my daughter’s birthday treat with 3 of her friends.

The female lady behind the bar was blunt and rude when the girls were picking Thor slush drinks, she displayed she didn’t want to be there quite obviously.

Further, the girls wanted to do karaoke - it’s a small room, only 1 microphone worked and it stopped working mid way through.There was a fan mounted to the wall that circulated dust more than air. We all came out dripping wet.

I sent an email whilst I was there on the reply that confirms there was air con, 5 days later there has been zero reply.

Given there is alternatives I feel cheated for the booking, with close to £180 spent, very simply I would never have booked if the answer was honest that they have no air con.

The kids were hot and grumpy and it made for hard work to keep them entertained!!

To note, I had a reply in less than 24 hours when I enquired about the air conditioning, so I can only assume I am being ignored.

Great venue, fun time had by all. Not helpful with allergy information - otherwise would have been 5 stars. I was given the website for the food allergies from the menu but wanted the crisp allergens. One member of staff tried to help but was stopped by another.

My booking was for my daughter’s 9th birthday with her school friends. I also ordered food within my booking for 12 children. Staff could not advise when it would be best to bring out the food. They told me that was up to me. However, how could I decide when I don’t have experience with how long 2 games with 12 children should take.
And then when the food arrived, not all of the order was there. Some food was sitting there getting cold as the children were still bowling. We waited absolutely ages for 3 burgers. As you can imagine this was not good when children are watching their friends eat and they aren’t.
Lastly, me and other parents were clearing the bowling lane areas of any finished glasses, water/juice jugs etc and not a single member of staff bothered to clear the area until we had finished.

This was supposed to be my daughter’s 9th birthday, but I missed half of it trying to sort out the food order. It caused me stressed and came away unhappy. Also it resulting in me apologising to the children’s parents who child was waiting ages for food. I paid a lot of money for this experience but it was not worth it and will not be visiting again!

The woman on the bar was a bit moody to be in a “fun” place! The tiny amount of aircon wasn’t even worth it! It was so hot we couldn’t wait to get out. We was supposed to be celebrating and would have stayed longer had the atmosphere and temperature been better.

I always like coming here, but this time the experience was not great. Visited on the day of the England match and it was dead - noone else on any lanes. However when a family did arrive, the Tenpin team put them on the lane directly next to us rather than anywhere else which seemed really odd. To add to this, the place was unbearably hot - either the AC was not on or wasn't working. We had two pints of beer, both were warm and flat, and one tasted like it had been sitting in the lines for some time. Overall - very disappointing for a place that we visit regularly and normally does an excellent job.

Staff did a great job with 3 lanes filled with Girl Guides, volunteers and lots of burgers, hotdogs and chips. Highly recommend!

Love this place, clean, nice facilities and staff are great.

I regularly bowl at Tenpin Harlow, the last experience being very positive. I’ve noticed how inclusive the staff are. The place was clean and tidy. We always like to play pool after, the tables were well kept.

My daughter Jorgie had her 10th birthday with the team they were brilliant from start to finish the girls loved the singing and music choices could not fault the staff who went above and beyond to make her day special

Have to ring as cannot book concession online I do this weekly for our service users. The helpline staff are always very helpful over the phone. However on taking 2 clients with learning difficulties to Harlow, it turned out we’d been 60p under charged the lady there would NOT let us pay it then as been done over phone, she was most unhelpful and did not have a great attitude towards people with difficulties. Thank goodness a support worker was with our guys, so she finally relented and let the 60p go! Not after she’d made us feel bad- when we only pay what’s charged over the phone! How was we to know undercharged? Staff member could do with some training on how to treat people!

Quick service, nice people.

Ordered multiple drinks through the app in our party and had to chase them at the bar to get them. Then when we decided to order at the bar, we were told you can't go to use the app. Staff seem to do the bare minimum to earn their wage.

Great quality, lovely staff.

Prices are way to high, but I do understand that overheads are extortionate! Harlow council and government need to lower ground rents,as do utility companies. STOP running the high street into the ground, give companies a break, Bring back the high street and cash for EVERYONE..
I will say, on our last visit, the loos were a bit smelly, but not unclean.

The lane was available on time.
Staff were courteous
Online booking worked well

I had my son’s 5 th birthday party here on Sunday just gone. Very disappointing- firstly it took me two days to make him a cake when we arrived I was told they could not put it in the fridge- even tho it was 30 degree heat outside. It was boxed and bagged. By the time we served the cake it was melted. It also says the cake is presented by the venue- they dumped it on the bar and called me over to do it myself.
Not one member of staff sang happy birthday.
The entertainment with balloons and dancing - was a young miserable girl came round for 5 minutes with some balloons, I didn’t see her crack a smile once.
Not one member of staff asked if we were ok, they all just grunted at us.
The food was over cooked, not quite burnt but very well done.
I requested a vegan meal for one child and when the waitress said he could have nuggets or burger and we asked “ are they vegan”
She replied “ they should be” 🤣
The children all had a great time but I wouldn’t recommend a party here - the staff were unfriendly, and unhelpful and made absolutely no effort.
They came with a party bag for the bday boy and didn’t even give it to him , just dumped it on one of the guests mums.
Won’t be returning for a party here.

Very reasonable for families using the Tuesday deal. Staff were nice. Please take a look at lane 9, we’re very sure it’s not registering strikes properly. The far right pin seems to be re positioned despite having been knocked. Also quite hot in there. Had a nice time with my children thank you
