Fantastic from the Get-Go, Signed up with Christina at the Bolton Store, Manchester Road, really friendly welcome, answered all our questions, and nothing seemed to much trouble. It was a no brainer to sign up and not carry on looking. Actually could not believe the rates what we thought was for a week was actually for the month! Supper happy. Excellent experience due to excellent prices and excellent customer service Thank you Very Happy and impressed.

Was in need of some were to store my stuff this company was really helpful and supported me ,with a worm wecome and made md feel very safe and secure I would really recommend this company to any one ,the lady Christina was very helpful and really made me feel in a positive place

We have been using a storage unit with Safestore Bolton on Manchester Road for over three years. Our experience with them have always been positive and the service they provide is excellent. We have met various members of staff, and we find them welcoming, helpful, courteous and professional. They are happy to answer any questions and deal with any required changes promptly, and the necessary paperwork is clear.

Most recently we needed to downsize to a smaller unit. This was mainly dealt with by Connor, and the whole process was completed smoothly, quickly and without fuss.

Just been to Manchester Rd' Bolton to send a DHL package for the first time. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Really recommend them.

So, after the last review Safe Store rang me in regards to the review. I was called by an Area manager (female). The A.M informed me that they have saved 3 medium sized boxes with photos and any paperwork that had my name on it. I did arrange to collect them as my anxiety was not in the best place but I had my whole life in that staorage and wanted to see what they had rescued.
I didn't organise the boxes straight away due to Christmas. It wasn't until this last week that I had time to sort them.
I'm missing 2 x photo books that I know had my name in them (one was yellow and fluffy with winnie the poohs face on the front, the other was a blue universal studio's). They had photo's of myself visiting Florida. Other florida pictures were there with me touching a dolphin.
I had 2 broken phone's (both Samsungs - 1 Galaxy 8 purple, 1 - Galaxy note 8 which is gold.
I understand that I owed them money and I understand that it's a business but what they have done is out right CRUEL, EVIL AND HEARTLESS.
No payment plans to offer anyone so if you do fall behind then it stops all this heartache that I'm suffering from like this. My sister passed in 2016, my dad passed in 2008 and I know I had more pictures of them in my belongings because I'm missing a lot of them. I have 2 whole DEGREES and not ONE certificate came back to me. I had a A4 lever folder full of all my certificates of education. The A.M said there were in there too. So she lied!!!
S.S even put my belongings in their own branded boxes. Why wasn't my belongings put in the plastic storage boxes that where already in my stuff? They even destroyed my socks, underwear and make up that can't even be resold. Why didn't they just take items that they can resell like my washing machine, drawer sets etc and let me collect clothes, shoe's, make-up. This just shows how NOBODY should use their services EVER AGAIN because they will f you over.
My mental health has taken a drastic nose dive since discovering what this awful, backstreet company has done to me. Which company hasn't got any payment plans to offer their customers in this day & age? Oh that's right.... SAFE STORE. And to be called "safe" has definitely got to be a play on word's because it's far from the truth.

This company threw away my life. I've had family members that have passed away and had memories/photos that can not be replaced. I had to put my belongings in storage as I was fleeing domestic violence.
I did fall behind with my payment's due to health issues but I was willing to pay extra per month to bring the total down/back on track. I did explain all this to them but they didn't care. This company did not want to help me get out of the crisis nor did they offer a payment plan, given the state of the economy. One staff member (male) was so rude that I suffered from a mental breakdown after the call with him. He said "pay up or we will destroy all your belongings", like he was a bailiff. When I asked to speak to a manager, he told me that he was the manager and that I should just "pay them and not make a big fuss as he needs to deal with people that pay". He is not a manager.
When they destroyed all my belongings they did not call me to inform me (I have phone records to prove it).
I'm still suffering with the loss of the family members and the loss of my personal belongings. I literally have to start again. No clothes, shoe's, photos or comforts all because of them. I'm totally heartbroken with the lack of care or support this company has done for me. I would NEVER recommend such company to anyone EVER.

From the start the staff Laura and Christina were very helpful and prompt in quoting me. My check in and the system was very easy and when my situation changed they were great on this also. I got many quotes and they were also the cheapest

The staff in the Bolton branch were very helpful setting up the storage for my son's furniture whilst waiting for completion of his property.
