I went to Richer Sounds Romford to purchase a pair of headphones. My old ones, a pair of AKG Y50 had finally had their day after many years of service. The truth is I was allowed a decent amount of time to try out a selection of stock headphones. I laid my money down on a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 5. However when I tested those in DAC mode at home it became quickly apparent they were not for me. In truth I had tried recently before that an expensive pair of headphones while I was passing by the Tunbridge Wells branch and the testing at my local branch in Romford was about simple economies. Could I get a cheaper pair with the sound I wanted. The answer was I could to a degree, but I had been utterly spoilt by the expensive ones and it was those headphones I returned to Romford branch to buy. I now own a pair of Focal Bathys MG and I do not regret a single penny of the cost. The shopping experience at Richer Sounds is always excellent no matter what branch I walk into and as for the Focal Bathys MG headphones they are just sublime…. Many thanks.

The radio was delivered to the very local shop. We were informed of it's delivery by personal phone call from the staff at the shop and collected later that day. Collection was straight forward and friendly.

Good phone advice over condition of open box item and alternative of buying the same item new at a much lower price than on the website. Also a £10 discount on another item

I aways buy my audio/visual from Richer Sounds, not because of any price advantages but because of the service I receive, always friendly and helpful. Any request to listen to equipment is never too much trouble either. The free six year guarantee available on some items is very welcome too. Shopping here has/is always looked forward to.

There product knowledge is first class. The projector arrived when they said it would. Free delivery with a 6 year guarantee. You cant go wrong.

Listened to what I already had and why I was replacing it, also that I had some idea of what I wanted. Directed me to other options that may be better but let me decide and showed me what I had already had in mind, at no time did I feel pressured, merely informed and advised. Once final decision was made, all admin was straightforward, delivery was exactly as planned and installation was simple. Very happy with the product and the service received.

My Samsung super dooper TV broke down after 184 days. Because of the process going through Samsung repair I was without a TV. Thanks to Steve at Romford he loaned me a small one so I could continue watching my favourite TV. A regretful thank you to all at Romford store.

Good customer service polite knowledgeable

Honest advice when needed, even when the item was not the most expensive. Listened to my requirements and guided me through the options. Delivery was good as DPD was there chosen service. Also upon receipt of my order I noticed that a cable was missing. The staff were apologetic and arranged one free of charge to arrive next day . Fantastic service and would definitely recommend them.
