horrible customer service! I have been with oanda for many years Their customer service has taken a HORRIBLE turn for the worst. I have referred over 50 people and Ive asked for my referal credits only to have zero emails replied to. Terry Finn promised me Id get them then he left. I have reached out to other relationship managers trying to get a response and literally NOT 1 Person bothers responding. Even asking questions about getting a new referal help with his account.. Why should I send ANYONE there anymore! Ever Since Nick left its taken a horrible turn for the worst!I Have emailed Sven Erik multiple times and no reply either. Relationship managers never respond period. With referring million dollar accts I will work towards moving them out of Oanda.

The positive reviews are fake. This business has an F rating on the Better Business Bureau. I deposited money and it damn near, took forever to get it deposited. Because of the horrible experience of waiting forever as soon as it was deposited, I took it out. They charged me $20 to withdraw and I still have not received it. I got an email and from the language of it. It seems like it was going to take another five days. Unreal. The positive reviews were purchased.

Update: I did just receive the money & they cancelled the fee.

Why do I say this? I’ve spent over two months providing Oanda with every document they’ve requested and jumping through an endless maze of hoops to try and withdraw the funds I deposited with Oanda. Yet they still refuse to return the hard earned money I deposited there.

At this point I’m beginning to think my only recourse is to get a lawyer and contact the SEC. Save yourself a lot of trouble and wasted time, go with a different broker.

After months of dealing with Oanda's online help I finally spent the time to call in and their representative Grace was able to help me over the next week, even when getting the same pushback from Oanda's internal approval group. I was able to get my information updated and money withdrawn. While she deserves 5 stars I'm bumping the overall review up to three stars as it represents Oanda as a company.

Big scam… The best thing about em is the trading demo… They hold your money forever going in & coming out. Not to mention, they restrict from traders from placing multiple trades or increasing lot sizes between trades… The ABSOLUTE WORST, is the fact of not being able to access your funds on an immediate basis… I wouldn’t advis ANYONE to use OANDA. Not even my opponent

I go search the Oanda website and go look for hours of operation come to the end of day turns out the hours on the site I was directed to are the Canadian trading hours. In the US absurd to believe I’d have to check to see if this site is for my country when you have to scroll to the bottom or read the site link to make sure it is the correct site when it was the one I got directed to.

Been trading here for live three months. These folks done closed all my live accounts and won't give me my money and won't let me withdraw . The send me daily statements showing the position that I have open . But when I login there's no more live account and I can't access my money. Don't I repeat don't place your trust in this broker.

When I try to withdraw money from oanda into my “verified bank account” they deny it. They’ve done this three times. If and when I get my money out of this platform, I will use another Forex trading platform that doesn’t try to hold on to people’s money.

My experience with the Onda Trading platform has been extremely disappointing. Despite providing them with a copy of my driver's license and Social Security number during the signup process, they flagged my account due to my foreign-sounding name.

It's incredibly frustrating to encounter such discrimination based on something as trivial as a name. It seems that individuals with foreign names like mine are subjected to additional scrutiny and hurdles when attempting to open an account.

This company's lack of respect for diversity and inclusion is deeply concerning. No one should be denied the opportunity to open an account based solely on their name. Such discriminatory practices have no place in today's society.

Overall, my experience with Onda Trading has left me feeling disheartened and disillusioned. I hope they reconsider their policies and strive to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all users, regardless of their background or name.

Highly trust worthy, great spread on popular pairs. Moving money in and out of your account is relative quick.

From the start it has been a terrible experience, they took many days longer than what they said it was going to take to approve the account, deposit funds, etc. Customer service is horrible as they aren’t helpful when trying to solve a problem or wanting to know why your funds have taken more than 2 weeks (it said it takes 6 day max on oanda hub) to get deposited. Only good thing about this broker is the access to metatrader, even then I would still use another broker as this one has little to no help, poor service, disregards the customer. Never using this broker ever again.

They work with me very well

I needed to talk to someone about getting account information for reporting to the IRS, and I have called in 5 or 6 times over the last 8 or 9 days, and every time I call I get transferred to a Manilla Phillipines call center. They have told me repeatedly that my issue is under review and someone will contact me in 48 hours, and no one has ever contacted me and they keep telling me the same thing and say there is no way they can transfer me to someone in the US. The customer service is a joke. I would never recommend them. Finally, after filling out a survey after talking to the Manilla call center, someone called me and addressed my issue after 8 days. Update: I had a customer relations manager contact me, because he saw my bad review. He helped me access my online account, but I found out after the contact since I had a self-directed IRA account I still cannot access or withdraw money out of my account like I need to. I attempted to contact Jason Matos, Team Lead Relationship manager, several times now and he has not emailed me back or returned my calls over the last 10 days. I left messages for him and then called and got the Manilla call center again who told me they could not help me, and said they would need to have someone call me in a few days. I hope new prospective customers are reading this review, because their service is lacking and I cannot get a hold of anyone that can provide help for my needs.

Update: Oanda continues to not respond to my contact attempts as of 4/15/24. This has now been ongoing for several months. Oanda is holding my account money and not allowing me access to it, or responding in a timely manner to my emails, phone messages or requests. Oanda please escalate this message to a company executive and respond to me, since I am getting no response to my request!

I had an account with OANDA for several years. They are great at taking your deposit, but not great when you want to make a withdrawal or change your address. You will have to upload multiple documents over multiple weeks to get things resolved. I finally got my account closed after a ridiculous $20 ACH fee. It costs OANDO zero to make an automated transfer. Goodbye and good riddance. Never again.

I am a Forex Trader. I have an account with Oanda and am very pleased with their products and services. I highly recommend Oanda.
