Never rent with anyone else!! Never
This review is actually from an earlier trip. The number one thing for me and my family is no stress and safety. For my trip planning to Seattle WA last July, I regrettably went with Avis to save a few dollars as I could bundle it with my Airlines. However, when reading the requirements after I prepaid (no refunds), other than the usual DL/Passport/Credit Card... which is a non issue, they also wanted, bank statements, utility bill/rent, my insurance binder paperwork that proves I have insurance because my insurance card was not enough and they also indicated they reserved the right to call my insurance agent just in to be eligible to rent a car. Which is insane.. and yet they reserved the right refused my reservation when I showed up if any of the paper work was not to their liking. And did I mention it was prepaid with no refund! I could not believe this so I chatted with their automated agent online and confirmed this was their requirements. Flying into a sketchy airport at 12am with my family and not knowing if I will be able to pick up a car was a deal breaker.... I don't care if they kept my money due to no refund.. Long story short... Never Again... I was able to rent with Hertz and never looked back. I love that I could pick up the car directly without stopping at the counter, load my family, and drive to my destination without any hassles... Thank You HERTZ!!
