Clerk was extremely helpful and was able to get my vehicle even with multiple cancellations and alot of angry people. She remained composed and very helpful during my reservation and was very pleasant when I returned my vehicle.
Once staff was at the location, everything went great. Car was great, check in was great. Next time put a sign in the door that says you are out and when you will be back. That would have changed this to a 5 out of 5.
I then called customer service to see what was going on. They get a 0 out 5. Not only did I get someone who barely spoke passable English, she was in a room full of others and I could barely hear her because of the noise of other support in the room. Then she told me my car was not available (not true) and that I would need to go 20 miles out of my way to get another car and I was going to need to pay the difference. $180 versus $275. Come on Hertz! You mess up, you own it and you give us a car at the already booked rate. Also, if you are going to contract out your support, make sure they speak the customer's native or country's language and have noise canceling headsets.
The Hertz agent, Sandra, made it a great experience from check in and the return. The vehicle was very clean. I would use this Marlboro, MA anytime.
