Ordered a tent online click and collect. When I collected the tent the bag looked worn and not new. So I opened it and it had been used and repacked. Was told it had been put in the wrong section and the staff went and got another tent. Went back a week later to buy some chairs and the tent I refused was back on the shop floor with the other new tents. Make sure you check your stuff in store as you may be taking used goods home.

Sam was helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Also friendly and answéred all our queries.

We (2 adults) spent quite some time in the Northampton store on a busy Saturday and needed assistance from several members of staff in finding certain items of stock and payment help (Amy), queries re stock levels, product knowledge and Go Outdoors membership (Cieran and Dan) and several issues such as parking, discount for membership, payment and overpayment resolution (Kelly). Each member of staff was available without being overbearing, offered help readily and either were able to help themselves or find a team member who could assist. All done with smiles and good humour. The whole 'vibe' was one of warmth and enthusiasm. Definitely over and above any expectations I arrived with. The result was a pleasant experience for us (it could have been otherwise!) that we'll be happy to repeat and significant purchases that would almost certainly not have gone ahead without the professional and knowledgeable assistants and assistance!

I had a very disappointing experience with this order. Instead of receiving one complete package, my order was split into around three separate parcels, with several items cancelled from the original order.
I chose store collection rather than home delivery, but I never received an email confirming that the order was ready for collection. After 14 days, I was informed that some items had been returned because I had not collected them. This was incorrect, as I had personally collected the available parcels, while the staff apparently failed to notice or locate the remaining package.
Overall, this was a very poor and unprofessional experience, with poor communication and a lack of organisation

lovely customer service from Marley who went out of her way to help us. Left the store extremely happy with our purchases and the customer service.

Excellent service from Abbey, I required some trail shoes and had no idea, Abbey was very patient and helped me make the right choice of shoes.

Visited today where Marley was busy working , on asking her for some help she went above and beyond to help she located a horse rug that I wanted to buy in the stockroom then she was more than helpful when I was trying on jackets this experience was the best ever she was so polite and helpful truly a valued member of the team

Really lovely staff. I came in with my husband looking for new waterproof jackets and Abbie showed us around the different waterproofs and guided us on the best ones for our needs.

I have visited this store a few times now and i appreciate that the staff are honest and give recommendations on what’s best for you and don’t try to upsell just for the sake of it. It feels very genuine.

Always lots of tempting deals and very helpful staff.
I came way with a great new pair of boots. Not the pair I was intending to buy, but after trying lots, there were the best for me.

Really helpful and friendly service at GO Outdoors! Milly was lovely and gave me some great advice when choosing the right shoes for an upcoming hiking trip. She was really knowledgeable and made the whole experience easy. Would definitely recommend!

I had absolutely incredible service from Hannah. I cannot stress enough just how knowledgeable and helpful she is. She was extremely patient and helped me get EXACTLY the right thing for me, no matter how many times I had to try on different pairs of shoes. Her knowledge base of running shoes is second to none and I can honestly say that she was so passionate about ensuring that the shoes I purchased were right for ME. Not just for my budget, or for my style, or for my gait, or for my health conditions, but for ALL of them put together. I was also helped by Caitlin and Amy too - who were also just as fantastic. Thank you to all three of you, so very appreciated!

Dan was great - immediately helped me and demonstrated how to use equipment before I bought it. Knowledgeable and friendly. Why cant all customer service be this good?!

Dan was great, helped me with a cool box, only display model left. Really nice and helpful. His colleague also called the lift for me. It was a nice touch.
