What a spectacular person Kia is! Her knowledge on the stock and its location in the shop were super helpful and then to be served by her at the till. She is a bubbly approachable person and I really enjoyed our interaction. The shop itself is clean and well stocked I found everything I needed

Go Outdoors in Gloucester beat Amazon’s prices while providing exceptional customer service.

Tim and Poppy helped me find exactly what I was looking for: a Berghaus tent.

Poppy showed me a few useful additions that worked well with the tent, including the matching porch, footprint, carpet and windstop.

I was really surprised to discover that every item was priced lower than on Amazon.

Poppy answered all my questions with patience and knowledge, while Tim processed my membership card and even fetched a trolley to get everything to my car.

The fishing department is very bare, maybe awaiting a delivery but the last 3-4 times we have been in it's the same. The stuff they did have on the pegs had no prices at all so no idea how much anything was. It doesn't seem to be manned by anyone with any knowledge of fishing now so it's not even an easy experience getting a price check or any advice on the products available.
The Swindon Go Outdoors is 100 times better than the Gloucester which is a shame as it's a bit of a trek to get there from where we live but at least they have stock.
On the plus side the lady who served us (Kia) was lovely and really tried to engage our son into a conversation about Spiderman.

Myself and my daughter use this store very often and regularly use the Evri postal facility within the store. The gentleman that serves us is Matt B and we have to say, he goes far and beyond to assist us, making our visit very efficient and quick. Great selection of camping chairs. I took mine to coubter where Chad told me he was sure these were on offer and checked for me resulting in me buying a second chair half price today. Excellent service. Thankyou Chad.
