I placed an order and it was delivered quite quickly

Smashing service, efficient, keen and knowledgeable staff. After trying on many pairs and sizes of footwear, I settled on a pair of good quality (and pricey) walking shoes. There seamed to be the assurance of easy returns (should the fit not satisfy), and a long guarantee. Overall, an excellent experience.

The staff at the Hull store were very friendly and helpful, especially Stuart who made my experience a very positive one, he was knowledgeable offering price matching and discounting on the Berghaus air 6.1 nightfall tent that I was interested in purchasing, because I was offered such a good price I bought the tent. Customer service provided was excellent they seem to really care about the customers and I will definitely shop at Blacks again.

Very happy with the service given by the store recently, when trying to find a pair of walking boots/trainers recently. My Initial purchase didn't work out, returned to the store and tried every pair in the shop. I had the sales guy running up and down stairs for me quite a bit, until the very last pair in the shop fitted. These were sold to me with discount of 20% as well. The salesman was very patient and helpful throughout the transaction, I therefore left the store very pleased and will be back.

The Store manager (Antone?) at the Hull store was extremely helpful and efficient when I had to return a tent for a replacement recently....
So much easier doing it with a real person than trying to figure out how to do it online! 😍

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, it was the first time we shopped at Blacks, we will definitely return as you well know happy and friendly staff does go a long way. Highly recommended this store, products are top class with excellent customer service.

On entering the shop I was greeted immediately and politely, but was not pestered. After a few minutes browsing I was asked if I required any assistance.
After explaining what I was looking for I was directed and assisted accordingly in a professional manner. All my requirements where met and at no point was I pressured into a sale.

I'm becoming a regular, keep walking past and spotting bargains! Two girls on today were really polite and helpful answering my questions about the sale items.

I found the staff to be very helpful they also have very good knowledge of the products they sell

I haven't been in a shop recently where a member of staff has been so helpful. I was looking for a black rain jacket and saw one in the men's section for £29. I tried it on and it was ok. The young man told me where to find a mirror and I decided the jacket was a bit big and went back into the shop to try the smaller size. He came over and asked if he could help with anything. I told him I liked the jacket but it was a bit too big but I couldn't find anything similar in the ladies section at the same price. 'I think we might have the same one in a ladies. What size would you want?' I told him 12 or 14 and off he went. He came back with a 14 saying that they didn't have any 12s. I tried it on and it was perfect. He went out of his way to get me sorted. It is very rare in this day and age to find a young person so helpful. I am 70+ so he didn't have any ulterior motives. Lol. I didn't get his name but he needs a pat on the back or a pay rise.

Shopping for rucksack today, great selection and great discounts aswell! Staff excellent and a pleasure to be attended to by nice human beings.
