I was very disappointed with my experience. I had explained that I was claustrophobic and unlike the adverts for the scan, I was not offered any music or any relaxing techniques for the the hour and 45 mins I was in the MRI. I could not hear or understand the gentleman who were operating the machine which just added to my anxiety. I was not offered any break despite exhibiting my anxious behaviour. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Thankfully, my results were okay, but for the amount I paid I expected a better level of service!
The advert should explicitly state how noisy the machine is and that no hep other than ear phones which didn't work would be offered. The advert glamourises the procedure which it should not!

MRI Scan
