I’m really enjoying my experience with the Interior Design Institute so far. The lessons are easy to understand and cover the important basics of interior design, from design principles and space planning to color, materials, and furniture selection. I especially like that the course allows me to learn at my own pace while still giving me practical exercises that I can apply to my own designs. It’s a great option for anyone who wants to learn more about interior design and build their knowledge and skills.

The course is very straight forward and easy to get along with. It gives a very good baseline understanding of interior design and working with clients. After completing module 10, I feel much more confident in my skills compared to the start of the course.

One thing I would love to see advanced is a more in depth and detailed learning material on how to completed a full project from start to finish. Paying closer attention to the system and organization side of running a project.

I love this course, they let you take time around work and hobbies without horrid deadlines or when life gets in the way.
I’ve been doing this course very slowly from 2022, almost gave up after a house move, then was so grateful to have got myself back on it and now on Module 11 with the diploma in sight! I couldn’t recommend this course enough.

The Interior Design Institute has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience so far.
First, the course is extremely well priced. The amount of learning material, examples, workshops and tutor help has made this a great experience for me. I can’t wait to use what I have learnt to help me achieve my goals in the future

I’m quite enjoying the course, learning quite a lot. It starting look at the furnishing, lighting and potential of houses differently. Which is quite helpful in my current career.

The course as a whole is excellent so far. The material is thorough and well-organized. The assignments are a great test of the reading material. I am grateful for my tutor, whom provides constructive feedback on my work and encourages me to reach out with questions. The program is very reasonably priced for the level of education received. One thing to be improved upon would be the clarification on learning software programs. The time investment to learn these programs isn’t reasonable while doing the coarse, but it seems a disadvantage to not know at any while doing the coarse work.

I’m really happy with the experience that I’m having with this interior Design website , the teacher are really helpful they helped me many times ,they are so comprehensive and the website is easy to manager , I’m still enjoying . They money that’s spent on it is worth it.I recommend

I’ve really enjoyed this course and feel confident that I can take what I’ve learnt and apply it in the real world. The course is practical, engaging and easy to work through at your own pace. I also really like the option to add extra modules, which allows me to explore areas I was particularly interested in. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience and has given me a great foundation in interior design

I really enjoyed studying with The Interior Design Institute. The course was easy to follow and really informative. The online format allowed me to study at my own pace, which really suited my busy lifestyle. I learned so much about a wide range of interior design topics and loved the assignments at the end of each module. The Tutor support and guidance was very helpful, and I would happily recommend this course to anyone with an interest in interior design.

I’ve had and am having a great time doing my course with the interior design institute. The modules are all laid out very nicely and have everything you need to complete the assignments which have all been great fun! The tutor feedback is also always very helpful. Couldn’t recommend them more!

With only two modules left, I am nearing the end of my studies with the Interior Design Institute. I have thoroughly enjoyed most aspects of the course so far and am looking forward to finishing my last two assignments. Overall, the course has been well laid out, easy to follow and provided great information. Certain modules have been incredibly challenging and stretched me but this is not necessarily a bad thing. Learning to use programs like Sketch Up has by far been the most difficult aspect of the course but overcoming that challenge was satisfying. Some assignments lean into my natural interest and strengths and are more satisfying than others but each module is as important to my overall knowledge base. When I first began the course I didn't use all of the tools available to me like the Facebook group and if I was talking to someone just starting now I would recommend digging into the resources available more thoroughly. I also became more comfortable asking my tutor questions further into the course and recommend using them more often. Because each assignment is marked by individual tutors there is some subjectivity to the mark based on their personal preference but this can be a good thing as clients will be subjective as well. Overall, I highly recommend this course if you are a self-motivated student and are able to keep yourself on track. Balancing the course with work and family life can be a challenge but going at your own pace is completely acceptable making this an even more appealing option for aspiring interior designers.

Learning interior design with IDI has been such a rewarding journey. Every module is exciting and challenges me to think creatively while giving my best in every assignment. I'm looking forward to turning my passion for design into a fulfilling profession and lifelong creative pursuit.

The content of each module is clear, interesting and well presented. Information is succinctly displayed with a good balance of text and picture or diagram . The example assignments are very useful to aid an understanding of what is expected. The volume of content and work required in the assignment is manageable alongside other commitments. I have thoroughly enjoyed engaging in this course and value the prompt feedback provided by my tutor .

I have adhd and I like information to be to the point. I also like that the feedback from my tutors are constructive and encouraging.

Challenging but totally worth it – amazing tutor support!
Balancing this course with a full-time job and family commitments hasn't been easy. It definitely requires a lot more heavy reading and deep research than other diploma courses I’ve done before. But honestly, it's so worth it. My tutor has been an absolute lifesaver—super helpful, and always quick to reply whenever I need help navigating the workload. Every time I finish a module, everything just clicks, and I really get how it all works. The best part is applying what I've learned to my actual work; the results have been amazing! I highly recommend The Interior Design Institute to anyone thinking about diving into interior design. It's a lot of work, but the payoff is awesome!
