Pizza quite good but too burned to be honest

We went to Rudy's Pizza in Ancoats, Manchester. The pizza is great and the place is nice too but they rush you to leave in an hour. We booked and arrived 5:30 and by 6:35 they start telling us they need the table. They just can't wait for you to eat and leave.

A no go.

Manager or i think he was the manager was aragant unhelpful and obviously doesnt appreciate the customer. Never spend another penny at the place would advise that you avoid.

I ordered 8 pizzas totaling £69.20 from Rudy’s Bake at Home Pizza on November 28, 2023, with a promised home delivery via DPD. Unfortunately, the delivery was a complete failure as DPD did not deliver my order.

Upon reaching out to Rudy’s customer service, I’ve encountered sheer negligence. Despite my multiple attempts, they have been unresponsive and are neglecting my request for a refund. Several phone call unanswered, Instagram messages and emails ignored.

I am left with no other option than to go with a chargeback through my bank!

This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am disappointed in both the unreliable delivery service and the lack of customer support. I expected more from Rudy’s Bake at Home Pizza as I have previously ordered from them in 2021 a few times. Proceed with caution if considering their services. It appears they rather scam you out of money than help.

Went to Rudys Liverpool last night. Absolutely amazing service. the pizza and burrata we ordered were perfect. I’m not sure why this place has not so many stars on here but I am definitely coming back once i’m in Liverpool next month.

First visit to a Rudy's. We were in the Liverpool one and the staff were lovely. Best pizza I've had, and I've had a lot (I'm old). Lunchtime service was nice and quick so didn't feel rushed to get back to work. Definitely coming back.

Have eaten at Rudy’s on many occasions and the food and service have been exceptional - until today!
The young man on the “door” was rude, patronising and unhelpful, even advising me that if I had been before, I should know it was a busy restaurant and that it was necessary to book! For the record, I have never previously had to book, not even on Eurovision weekend!
It is unlikely that I shall ever return and will be advising my circle of local friends and family to do the same. The chefs are amazing and do not deserve this clown to be their “gatekeeper”.
If you want even a nod to half-decent customer service, go somewhere else.

Following the above review, I received an email from a lady called Emma the following day, as follows:
"Thank you for taking the time to leave us with your feedback, I do apologise that you were not able to dine with us on this ocassion. [sic]
I am sorry for how you have left feeling following on from this instance and would love to speak to you further if you wish too."
I responded the next day and received the following:
"Hello,
Thank you for your email.
I am currently on annual leave, returning back to work on Tuesday 30th June, Any emails will be replied to upon my return"

Genius!!

Went for a wander beer walk with my mates last week and found ourselves in cutters square ,busy place, lots of restaurants and a few bars. After more than a few drinks we got peckish but didn't want anything that would stop our drinkin sesh so we opted for a light pizza . Rudy's was right there , we were in, sat down and our orders taken in minutes , great customer service .The girl serving us "Lilly" was really sweet and friendly she advised us to "get different ones and share cos they are all so delicious you need to try them all" she was right .The pizzas were amazing. The Italian beer was lovely too. Lilly tempted us to go for the desserts but we declined , we didn't want to fill up to much, we needed the space for our drinkin sesh :) Thanks Lilly, thanks Rudy's, you helped us enjoy our day just that little bit more, by having us argue all sesh long, who actually ordered the nicest pizza overall,- (it WAS me !) .ha ha .In the words of Arnold "we will be back"!!

I went here on my last night in Liverpool. Place very nice, central location, friendly staff, food was ok, my parmigiana pizza was so salty, my caprice salad , was below ok, not as i expected, not enuf dressing, but all ok for me, will i coming back no thanks.

Went to the Trafford branch in Sale. Bit disapointed on the hard bench seating.
Given a table for 6 at the front door in the window, make it look busy I guess.
Starter plates arrived which I had to return as still dirty with old food.
Pizzas arrived, overpowered with some form of chilli which spoilt it for me, generally ok all round though.
A delivery company arrived with a large pallet of drinks, drivers propped open the front door which with the cold breeze was uncomfortable for the ladies. When raised with staff we were told it needs to be left open for the delivery..😱😱..
Well excuse me, delivery more important than the customers...really..
Last straw was 2 scum bag lads in their 20s swearing aloud and not challenged.
Place is a joke, needs closing down.

Food was so tasty.
The best pizza I’ve ever had.
The staff were so friendly too.

I’m definitely going to go back.
