I instructed Reeds Rains to handle the letting of my property which I have done myself since 2008 without any major issue . With the new legislation coming in I decided to employ a professional in Reeds Rains Castleford Branch . It is an under statement to say that it has not gone as I had hoped , I have had to be far more involved with the tenant coming and going than I ever expected , far more even than when I managed it myself . I am very disapointed to say the least . I decorated the entire flat before the last Tennant took up residency it wasn't on the list but it was tired so I did it any way . Reeds Rains have now done a delaps report on the tennacy at the end of a six months let stating they wont re let the flat until I fully redecorate it again . I am withholding the bond from the Tennant as a consequence and Reeds Rains who are contracted to me have taken the tenants position I believe . I didn't ask them to do the report but as they have I need to act on it i9 am now looking at least a £2000.00 pounds re decorating bill . It is my opinion people should avoid this company I would never use them for anything again

Quick and efficient service, sold the house in 2 weeks, was well advertised, did all the viewings and kept us well informed at every step, highly recommended.

Untrustworthy, they are good until you rent from them after that it is just you and the land lord. There is no proper maintenance to the property. If you call to ask about something they said they will do after you have moved in they will get very angry and accuse you of lying.

We've had a great experience using Reeds Rains, this time as sellers.

The communication, help and advice has been great. Very friendly and helpful team.

I would use them again and recommend to others.

The team at Reeds Rains Cleckheaton were fabulous when it came to the sale of our house. Samantha was our first point of call when it came to getting a valuation. She was very knowledgeable and advised the current value and best way to market the property (if we wished to proceed)

We opted for accompanied viewings, which took the stress from us. For each viewing, Chloe, Amy and Tia took charge, and followed up with feedback. Once we had accepted an offer, the team kept us up to date with everything, on top of solicitor updates.

A truly seamless experience - if we ever decided to move again, Reeds will be our first point of call!

Excellent work and great job

Worse service for agent at all, ask them if they can update me by email as I cannot pick up the phone during work but they said they cannot, I ask why and they said they just cannot do it but they ask me for email for record? What the point of they can't use email for contacting? Is that just one of the staff laziness or the whole company cannot do by email system? I am really disappointed!

Hannah and Liam at Reeds Rains kept me updated and in the loop during the entire home purchase process. As a first time buyer they were available to assist and explain with anything I needed! Everyone at the Wilmslow office has been very helpful from the start of our first approach to yourselves for a valuation on the property we have inherited when we met Mark Latham. Now we are dealing with John Williams regarding the sale and he is marvellous at communicating progress of same and keeping us abreast of developments. They arranged a viewing for a rental property. One day before, we had a phone call to say the property had rented. Why make appointment for a viewing then be told that rental had been agreed by someone else. If this is how they do business it's very shoddy, we were actually warned about the company but will now look elsewhere.
