Alex saved the day! Broken down on I95 near 26 and first had problem getting tow then realized I’d need 2 tires for my Toyota Highlander. Tried STM, WM and finally Mavis. No problem with Alex and she gave me 6 choices! Not a mechanic I went with the Michelins that she recommended since they’re on her car. Kelvin’s towing took me the extra 1/2 hour with Daria and Herb and back on road safely. On to OBX for family vacation 🌞
I have brought my vehicle to the location off of North Rd. In Orangeburg two separate times. The first time I had a check brake light and a bad wheel bearing. They told me it was an ECU problem and they could do nothing about it. I took it down the street and they replaced two brake sensors and fixed the wheel bearing problem. The next time I brought my vehicle to mavis seemed simple. Replace a tire that had a leak. My vehicle had factory chrome decorative plates over the lugs. The guy in shop told me my lugs were screwed up and I would need to buy all new studs and lugs. I told him they were caps over the lugs, he said he couldn't get the tire off. I took my vehicle down the road and they replaced my tire.
