I’m extremely satisfied with my banking experience. The service is excellent, and receiving my payments two days early is a huge advantage. Everything has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this bank to anyone looking for reliable and efficient financial services.
Hidden costs
The first thing that disappointed me about Majority was that the salesperson assured me I could transfer money to the card from my U.S. bank debit card. That worked for only two days; when I called to find out why I couldn't transfer funds using my debit card anymore, I was simply told I couldn't do it. Instead, I had to use a bank account transfer—which would take up to five days—or make a cash deposit at authorized ATMs "at no cost." However, the surprise was that they actually charge $3.95 for EVERY ATM deposit.
2. While other companies charge around 5% but use the official exchange rate, Majority pays less than the official rate and forces you to either deposit cash—paying a $3.95 fee—or leave your money tied up for five days while they use it to earn high interest. It struck me as a deceptive company.

Atención al cliente y solución de problemas demora mucho hice un envío internacional como el app nada mas teda acceso a un apellido a la hora de hacer el retiro no se pudo realizar y en vez de ayudarme para resolver el problema me dan vueltas y vueltas qué según ellos estan analizando el problema por mas de 24 horas muy mala atención la verdad

I’m sorry, but I genuinely do not believe many of these positive reviews are real.
I’ve been using Majority for about 11 months, and while the app has great ideas and features on paper, the execution is completely ruined by its pathetic customer support and operational structure.
This is, without exaggeration, the most pathetic customer service experience I have ever had with any financial company — and the crazy part is that they charge a monthly premium for it.
Every issue I’ve had follows the exact same pattern:
• Plaid account linking stopped working → support escalated it → never fixed.
• Debit card would not add to Apple Pay despite trying every troubleshooting step possible → escalated → never fixed.
• Majority Pay stopped functioning → escalated → never fixed.
• Transfer limits advertised in the app do not match reality. They advertise up to $3,000 monthly overseas transfers, but in practice I kept getting capped around $1,050 with no clear explanation.
The biggest issue is not even the bugs themselves. Every app has bugs. The problem is that support never actually resolves anything. Not once, across multiple support tickets and conversations, have they proactively fixed a single issue I reported.
Before contacting support, I always troubleshoot myself first — reinstalling apps, logging out and back in, restarting devices, trying different methods, checking online forums, even using ChatGPT to troubleshoot. I provide screenshots and detailed explanations specifically to avoid wasting time. Yet support repeatedly ignores the evidence already provided and responds with generic scripted troubleshooting.
The platform honestly has the potential to be one of the best fintech services available for immigrants and international users. The features are genuinely good. But the employee support structure and operational execution are absolutely pathetic, and it completely destroys trust in the service.
At this point, the customer support experience is the most pathetic part of the product — and users are paying monthly for it.

I am extremely disappointed with MAJORITY Bank and their handling of my account. After months of waiting, they informed me that my account would remain blocked and that they would not return my funds. This is unacceptable.
Despite requesting a simple balance transfer to recover my own money, they denied the request without providing any clear explanation. Instead, they hide behind vague “internal risk assessments” and refuse to share any details. This lack of transparency is very concerning and unprofessional.
Customers deserve access to their own funds and a clear explanation when issues arise. Holding someone’s money for months and then refusing to return it, while offering no meaningful information, shows a serious lack of accountability.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using MAJORITY Bank. Based on my experience, there is a real risk of losing access to your funds without any resolution or support.

This is hands down one of the worst financial apps I’ve ever used. Majority suddenly closed my account with zero warning, no explanation, and no transparency. They then went a step further and refused to release my own money, claiming it was due to “internal risk assessments” — but conveniently refused to explain what that even means.
Customer support is useless. You get scripted responses, no real answers, and no accountability. When you trust a banking app with your money, the bare minimum is honesty and communication — Majority offers neither.
Freezing accounts without explanation and withholding funds should be a huge red flag for anyone considering this app. This feels unsafe, unprofessional, and borderline unethical.
Avoid Majority like the plague. There are far better, more trustworthy banking options out there that won’t randomly lock you out of your own money.
