Amazing Experience
We were travelling as a family and really enjoyed the stay. It was close to Hallstatt, travelling by train and ferry to reach our destination. To the ferry is easy to walk to, however it was easier to travel by train since we were travelling with a 4yo and 6yo. The resort is surrounded by mountains and equipped with many facilities that our kids enjoyed.

Geräumiges Zimmer und Badezimmer. sehr sauber. Mir gefällt das Resort als solches. Das Frühstück war großartig, für jeden etwas dabei. freundliche Arbeiter. Wir waren auf einem Roadtrip, daher kann ich die restlichen Einrichtungen nicht beurteilen, aber ich glaube, dass alles großartig ist

Hallstatt
The hotel is in close proximity of Hallstatt. It is within walking distance from train station also.
There is a bus station next to hotel's parking place that can bring you to the cable car & Hallstatt.
Nice room & great breakfast is excellent starting point to explore Hallstatt or taking cable car go for skiing or hiking.
We decide to take dinner as well ( half board ) and it was delicious as well.

Great family vacation at Dormio Resort
We enjoyed staying at Dormio Resort. Our house was spaced enough for 2 families with kids and dogs. Fireplace and sauna were great addition to our house. House was equipped with everything we needed (kitchen had everything for cooking, a lot of dishes and glasses). We had a great view to mountain and lake was pretty close.

Best place for short-term family vacation
My family and I have visited Dormio resort near Hallstatt for the second time. The resort is located in Obertraun which is a nice and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountains. We found facilities, territory extremely suitable for a short-term family-type vacation. I definitely could recommend this resort as place, staff, reservation procedure, check-in/out, response time for any kind of requests is quick and convinient. This year we have booked big chalet for 10 people with sauna and fireplace. I can say that some parts inside chalet should be repaired or changed, such dish washer that didn't work properly, or too small refrigerator (this size forced us to keep all perishable goods outside, and it wasn't so convenience, especially when rainy days were quit common in November). Walls in kitchen needs to be repainted as a lot of splashes have been found there. One sink on the second floor was clogged. We really appreciate welcome kits, such as shower kit, kit for kitchen. But it would be nice if there we could find standard bundle of firewoods as well. Nevertheless, the beds are comfortable and clean, there are a lot of space inside and nice patio area outside, sauna is nice as well. Big trampoline, playground, area next to the lake and swimming pool are fantastic. When I was waiting my friends at reception zone I heard that receptionists gave free of charge drinks card to the guest because of some kind of inconvenience. It means that all staff tried to use customer-centric approach which give me possibility to assess our experience as 5/5.

We were very happy to be there. Everything was great, from check-in, hotel room clean and very espacious, free parking, easy connection to Hallstatt (bus stop almost in front of the room), great breakfast and very nice and friendly people attending at the restaurant. Met 10 personen familie kort vakantie
Het restaurant oü Za. 28.Oktober met de aangeboden menu was okay alleen de kwaliteit liet te wensen over. Aardappelen niet door gekookt, vis re koud of deels te klein voor die prijs. De te lange wachttijd op het eten was een ver negativ punt.
Het resort zeer mooi gelegen en de aanleg van de huizen optimal. De schoonmakers kunnen een betere taak verrichten.
