Absolutely outstanding service from Tim Lancaster at Brachers.

My house purchase turned out to be far from straightforward, with an unexpected historic issue on the title that could very easily have derailed or significantly delayed the transaction. Throughout the whole process, Tim was exceptional.

His calm, pragmatic and measured approach was exactly what was needed. He was incredibly responsive, reassuring and, most importantly, completely focused on finding a solution while making sure my interests were properly protected.

What impressed me most was his persistence. Even when things became complicated, Tim never lost sight of the objective and kept everything moving forward. I always felt that I had someone extremely capable in my corner who genuinely cared about getting the purchase completed.

And he did it! I now have the keys to my new home and genuinely cannot thank him enough.

Professional, knowledgeable, responsive, pragmatic and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tim and Brachers. A very well-deserved five stars.

Very good service, prompt and professional

Terrible experience dealing with my mother-in-law’s estate. We have had a stream of people dealing with the conveyencing and probate and neither seem to to talk to each other or behave in any way like they are providing a service

I started the sale of my buy to let house with Gill Turner Tucker who were taken over by Brachers part way through the process. Mark Sayer and his Secretary Rebecca dealt with the sale. It wasn't straight forward and due to many hiccups with the buyer took 6 months to complete. Mark and Rebecca were patient in the extreme and helped me get through this stressful experience. They kept me informed at every stage of the sale, argued my case when needed, and advised me when I needed to do something to ease things along.
The sale reached its conclusion eventually. I’m not sure if other Solicitors would have given up. I used them in 1017 when I bought the property, then 2026 to sell it. I will definitely be back in touch if/when I need the services of a Solicitor.

Extremely poor communication and service regarding dealing with my Aunts estate, no communication in over six months, really dragging their feet.
Communication that I have received constantly needing correcting and still came back with the same mistakes. Totally Mickey Mouse very disappointed at a time when the family should not have to deal with such incompetence.

Karen was great on my first property purchase, really responsive, proactive and overall great to deal with! Would definitely recommend.

Kat Martin, Meghan Scott and Colin Duce helped with my conveyancing and were all fantastic- They kept me regularly appraised at all times, and their knowledge of older properties was incredibly helpful given the property we bought was built in 1850 and had a private sewerage system- something they knew about- including dealing with unregistered land. They are very experienced, always positive in the face of adversity and pressure. A great team to have on your side. I would strongly recommend.

My parents used Katherine Martin on the sale and purchase of their property. Being of an older generation they were not always understanding of the process or what was being asked of them. Katherine was very sympathetic to their needs and was always contactable, friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to use her again.

They help make the buying process easier by helping their clients know exactly what they need to do and when, as well as working with the other solicitors involved in the sale so that the whole process is successfully achieved as quickly as possible. Awful and avoid at all costs. Attempted to scam me with fees when pushing me in a direction that incurred further costs. Distressed and angry at these cowboys…they backed down when threatened with legal ombudsman…probably say costs were clear in response but they were not…!!!!!
