Had to buy a headboard due to a fire, salesman was good, informed me that it would be about a month wait as the june container had already arrive which was fine as I was purchasing well before I needed. I didnt pay for delivery as I was going to pickup. When it did arrive I didnt have the free time to go pick it up as it was a 4 hour round trip so I asked if it could be delivered and again wasn't a problem, so I paid the extra $149 on the 14th of July. Delivery was 24th-25th July at the earliest but I was working and it was still somewhat of a building site so this then became 6/7 august which then became 13th of august, which was one month after I paid a fairly hefty 149 for delivery..13th of august was almost over and no delivery, so I messaged the salesman. 2 hours later I get a message saying that he thought he'd left me a message but It was someone else (even though our communication was messaging not voice) , and that the truck was having a problem and had to go back. Ok it happens, this was a Thursday and he was getting back to me the next day with the new date and timings. Friday.. nothing, Saturday.. nothing. I messaged monday the 17th, No real excuse as to why he didnt let me know except he was working at other stores.. OK cool, and this prevented you from letting me know how exactly??? Anyway turns out new delivery is now the 24th.. seriously? You had an issue.. it happens but you know what, good customer service says you get it there ASAP, like the next week. Not a week and a half later especially when each customer has paid $149 for delivery, oh but he was given authorization to give me 2 very thin pillows. So over all a pretty average experience, unless you want something you cant get elsewhere, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Purchased 9th of June, received 11 weeks later. Communication poor (I shouldn't have to chase it), delivery poor (I shouldn't have to wait 6 weeks when ive paid $149). The delivery guys were great though!

I was extremely disappointed with our experience with Beds 4 U today. We ordered 2 new mattresses at the local home show to fit our adjustabed. After being assured that the mattresses would fit, they arrived today (late delivery) . They are too wide and now we are told they don’t make them smaller and we won’t get all our money back! The salesman fully understood our requirements and we feel they haven’t delivered so we should get a full refund. Very poor all round

Not an up front experience. Attracted by the sale pitch on the interwebb. Up to 60% off, free delivery, etc... Ah Not the mattress and protector I chose, Had to come from Auckland by sea, 3-4 weeks to Christchurch. The free delivery (which should of read SHIPPING) only applies if you spend over $1000. Started badgering me for feedback starting a week before I even got the purchase. Then the exciting day comes, a Friday, I strip the bed down to the bass, the mattress comes looks good, they take the old mattress away for $60. Yay, I'll go and unpack my new mattress, uh-oh, no protector that was $111 extra. The reply I got by e-mail was... Pick it up on Monday from the Christchurch shop on the other side of town... So now I'm left feeling really unsatisfied...

Great service and delivery service

We purchased a headboard online as couldn't get any service from other retailers in tauranga. We then popped into the store in Newmarket and had the best service from Sonia and added 2 x bedside tables to our order.

We found Beds 4 u purely by luck one morning while having a coffee at a local café. Our youngster son needed a trundler bed and they had these so off we went to visit the Napier store. We were greeted by the loveliest lady behind the desk (Lindsay). We told her what we were looking for and Lindsay couldn't have been more helpful. We were blown away with the service, quality of the trundler bed we purchased and the next morning we turned up to collect the bed and the lovely Lindsay has it all wrapped ready to go. Highly recommend the Napier store (if you are a local) you won't be disappointed. See you again for another purchase 😊

I find the communication good.
But I have emailed a few times regarding delivery as it was ordered well over a month ago and had no reply. It said between 2-4 weeks but its not getting delivered till between 4th and 10th August

Excellent, attentive service and we were presented with multiple options to suit our budget. Delivery options were sorted to save us money and the bedding all arrived when promised. Extremely efficient and great communication. As an added bonus, the beds are extremely comfortable to sleep in. Highly recommended for a very easy, positive shopping experience.

Easy to complete purchase, delivery service was great and prompt. Would recommend this company and most likely will purchase from them again in the future when the need arises.

I was thrilled at the service I got, buying a new bed for my mother. When the bed I ordered couldn’t be delivered in time they upgraded it at no cost. They went out of their way, my mum said it was the best nights sleep she had had in decades!

The delivery time was so long, and then got a call to say it was going to be even longer. If it wasn’t for the nice lady that actually called me I would have asked for a refund. Wouldn’t recommend ordering online if you are in the South Island
