My 9 year old Daughter has been attending for almost a year and has enjoyed every session. It’s the best part of her week which she tells me often. She talks endlessly about her artistic inspirations and what she will be doing in her next session. She loves the class settings, the team and the projects. I can see that she has grown in confidence and she is flourishing in artistic flare. My daughter has had a few tough years at school with bullying and Emily’s art-k class has really helped her and her mental stability. It has been one place where she has been able to feel she could escape and she even told me that it helps her to feel happy-her happy place. As a parent, I am so grateful that there are classes like this. I feel it’s so important to be able to create, be inspired and to be able to follow your dreams. This is one place where my daughter is able to follow her dreams in a happy and safe environment.

When my daughter first started, I was happily surprised to see that the projects are artist based so the students not only learn about artists but also new techniques and ways of working with different media.

Emily, is always enthusiastic and encouraging as are the other staff. The classroom is bright, colourful and full of ideas and other students work and the pupils are always welcomed in every session. Each session, pupils who have finished a project are congratulated on their work which they get to take home.

We now have a wall for my daughter’s art and if I could give more than 5 out of 5 for Art-k Bexleyheath - I would!

Good teachers and good atmosphere, your kids must enjoy to have a art lesson in here!

Emily is a fab artist/ teacher. She gets to know your child and inspires the artist in them. My daughter is growing in confidence and really enjoys Art-K. Emily and her team keep me regularly updated in-person and via text where needed; they also give my daughter lots of positive reinforcement and recognition of her progress.

The studio is fun, artistic and appropriate for the children. My daughter loves it at Art-K. She gets to bring her work home once completed and takes great pride in it.

My son's art classes have been an absolute blessing. When he first started, he had little interest in colouring or art activities, but now he's excited to explore clay work, painting, colouring, mixing, and blending. Watching his creativity grow has been amazing his creative mind has truly been awakened.

What I love most is that this class is about so much more than creating beautiful artwork. Art helps children build confidence, express themselves, develop patience, and think creatively. I've seen all of these benefits in my son, and it's been wonderful to watch him flourish.

A huge part of this is thanks to Emily. Her passion for teaching shines through in everything she does. She is welcoming, patient, funny, and genuinely cares about every child. Because of her, there isn't a single day my son wants to miss class. She has helped him come out of his shell and gain confidence in himself and his abilities.

I honestly wouldn't change a thing about this class. If you're looking for an art programme that nurtures creativity, confidence, and self-expression, I highly recommend it. Emily has created something truly special, and we are so grateful to be part of it.

My little one has been going to art-k weekly for a while now and absolutely loves it!
She did the one day workshop over the half term and enjoyed every minute!

My kids (aged 11 and 6) loved it! They loved the artistic freedom they were given to create their pieces. They've asked if they could return again for the summer camp!

We celebrated our daughter’s 6th birthday this weekend and from the moment we enquired the team were amazing. All the party guests had a brilliant time and lots of the parents have asked for the details for future parties. Sophia was fabulous, mega helpful and the children loved her.

Great classes for my child. They enjoy creating and learning new skills.

My child didn’t enjoy it. He said he was just left to colouring on his own. Not worth the money if that’s all they are filing the time with. I felt abit guilty for even leaving him there.

My daughter realy enjoys her lessons and is learning a lot. She does a weekly session after school but had a great time at the summer days too.

I had a fantastic experience at art-K Bexleyheath. Emily was absolutely amazing. She was patient, encouraging and full of creative ideas. She explained techniques clearly, gave just the right amount of guidance and made the whole session really fun and inspiring. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping everyone develop their skills and confidence. The atmosphere she created was welcoming and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy experimenting with new materials. I left feeling proud of my work and excited to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive and inspiring art class.

Our son is a young adult with additional needs, he has been fully welcomed into the class, everyone makes him feel comfortable each week and the class teacher always thinks of interesting things for him to do which keeps him engaged.

I have really enjoyed K Art .. the tutor is knowledgeable, approachable and is absolute joy to be taught by.. I made many friends in part due to the wonderful friendly atmosphere created in the studio by the staff and fellow students

My son looks forward to his classes with Emily every week, she’s absolutely brilliant with him and seeing his confidence grow each week is lovely. We are also loving all his art work that comes home and he’s got quite a collection already.
