** when I shared with the front desk/management the resolution offered here on tristpilot, nobody knew what I was referring to, and claimed they couldn’t honor the offer to move my unit, meaning I would have to go through emptying and moving my storage unit over again (with the same initial problem of not having a Dollie that could fit past the hallway where I have a unit). They said there are no notes in the system and are completely unaware of the situation. This is despite talking to someone else at the front desk who said they would arrange to move my unit and call me back, (I didn’t receive a follow up call).
The biggest inconvenience at this point is having to move units twice due to their failure to communicate that I was given a unit that cannot be accessed by their Dollies/carts. (The unit is down a hallway With a much narrower door than the first hallway)
Everyone seems to give a scripted response that there are smaller carts available, but in at least four trips, I’ve never seen them and certainly no staff member has offered one after I’ve requested. (Even when no other cars are on the storage property they say that these extra carts are probably being occupied by other movers.) There’s a general feeling here of “tell customer what they want to hear, but let them deal with it on their own later”

Yelping this. I’m disappointed. The staff is friendly but I was charged a fee that is unfair and based on their negligence. Also i kept running into problems that made my trip extremely time consuming and INEFFICIENT . when I was switching units I wasn’t made aware until mid move that the unit I was moving into doesn’t have a corridor large enough for the Dollie to pass through. Supposedly there are carts on site but I was one of the only people there and none of these smaller carts were to be found. To make a long story less long, it increased our work load and the timing it would take had we been able to unload our Dollie in front of our unit. we were forced to take everything off the large Dollie then drag or carry it down the hall to the unit. By the time we finished it was already time to go and we left a few cardboard boxes as we were told it would be ok if we left some things. The cardboard boxes could have been put in our unit but we left because they were closing up which posed another problem. My Id for the Dollie rental was still at the office. On top of that I was told to go back to office (which is pretty far away, this is a very large wherehouse) and I was locked out. The Dollie I used I couldn’t even stick the chain back into the machine to refund my coin to get my drivers license back and there was no one to assist me. Fortunately a lady I didn’t know was able to call the manager to have her open the office and give me my license back after a 15 minute wait outside in the dark by myself. I can’t believe I wasnt told prior to moving units that I would be in a unit that I can’t pull a Dollie to the front of. I am astounded they would then charge me a fee for cardboard boxes I didn’t have time to move into my unit because they were closing. Then to go through the ordeal with trying to get the Dollie returned and chip out to wait an extra 15 minutes after closing to get my drivers license back. Again very friendly staff but in terms of support or vision for helping customers to achieve a seamless and efficient experience is sorely lacking.

Extremely well-run and safe facility. Staff member is extremely attentive, thoughtful and helpful. One serious concern is the extreme fiscal penalty if a client defaults.

Excellent service. Friendly, helpful and efficient associates. The storage unit we are renting is conveniently located for us. The facility is clean and well maintained and our unit comes at a reasonable price for the size.

I feel that the management can be an example for professionalism, but it is up to the subordinate to express it. So with that said I would like give kudos to manager Shilo (La Brea & Rodeo) as well as her star employers beginning with the office Kimberly, Mahogany, maintenance; Jose, and Nick. Consequently anyone not mentioned I believe represented unprofessionalism. Thank you for the time.

This place is clean, seems more secure than other storage facilities, & has 12 hour access every day. Easy access.

Very good place and clean also, they had helped me when I came to drop off my items they had locked my storage over night. The rental agent told me to just leave it until I came in the morning to drop my stuff off and she left it unlocked for me. The on-site management came to my rescue because I needed to drop off my stuff ASAP to get my moving truck back. They were great.

I’ve had an amazing experience so far with Price Self Storage. I booked my unit online and got a follow-up call to confirm within just a few minutes. I went down the next day and spent a brief moment filling out paperwork and then got my storage unit. When I opened it up, everything was clean and tidy. From outside I could see cameras had eyes on the roll up door and that gave a good sense of security. I had the pleasure to use the complimentary moving truck and found that to be really helpful, too. So far my interactions with Jason, Leah, and Ally have been outstanding. Everyone in the office is very helpful and personable.

Excellent customer service. When I showed up, the storage unit that i chose was to small for my needs. The rep, quickly showed me another unit and that was more to my liking. I got a great deal due to signing up online. The rep was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. So happy I chose Price Self-Storage.
