Combat WP military boot - 12 months and leaking!
I bought the Combat WP military boot, that claims that it is waterproof and virtually indestructible as it has a Kevlar outer upper single piece that wraps the whole foot.
The boot itself is super comfortable and supportive, once worn in a bit - it’s very tight over the bridge before hand so make sure you get the right size.
The brand also advertise the boot as having infinitely replaceable wear and tear items, such as the sole and inner socks, lining etc. Therefore the boot can last a lifetime given the steep upfront cost. I have had my boots for just over a year and have only really used them for walking the dog in winter and heavy rain.
Both boots now leak.
I tried contacting Naglev as there doesn’t not seem to be an apparent repair route specified on their site, to which I got no reply.
I contacted Huckberry in the USA (where I bought them - love Huckberry) and they have be super useful and credited the amount so I may buy another pair, which I will, and hope they fair better than the last.
Given I had them shipped to the UK, I’ll have to pay duty all over again.
Really disappointed at the longevity of this item.
