My wife and I bought our Motorhome from MDG in July 2025.
It was everything we wanted, it was just perfect as was all the paperwork, all the Habitation boxes ticked, everything was excellent, and your so delighted when you buy it, you only give all the paperwork a cursory glance and you sign and pay for it after all your it all perfect, you just been told that by the Dealer
Unfortunately the vehicle did not match the discretion in the paperwork
The minor problem we found should have been noted in the Habitation check, check and retified
Then we found major problems, all ticked as OK in the Habitation check door seals window seal, damp check’s only they weren’t good, roof damp spot but no damp check carried out on any roof light as per the MTC list, Door warped, with a hinge at 45 deg,
No problem it’s still in warrantee,
OK we were told they will fix it, as good as new/original and if you are not happy with the repair, we will give us a full refund
After seeing the repair with a line of white mastic from one side to the other hiding the cut to fit new roof board, with now sealing what was a perfect line between the roof and the wood work
I asked for our money back,…. they could not understand why were not happy with the repair, but there attitude changed in an instantly, no longer happy and friendly, now abrupt and unwelcoming .
We did get a full refund,m
Were previously we had been told it you decided to ask for a refund maybe we could supply you with a different Motorhome, now don’t bother looking at anything else we don’t want your custom
The moral is ask to see the paper work check the HAB report, check the report against the Motorhome, before parting with any of your hard earn CASH
As it appeares they sell you a vehicle so you then buy a warrantee they them fix all the problem and claim all the cost back against your warrantee saving the the cost of any repairs

We purchased our Peugeot Boxer from MDG in Ringwood last March & Daniel was brilliant! We bought a 3yr warranty package from Warranties 2000 & unfortunately had to claim ( faulty ECU) just prior to MOT. Iain (After sales Mgr) couldn’t have been more helpful!
Once our van was repaired, the agreed payment was in my account within 1 day of submitting the garages invoice, all in all fantastic service from MDG from viewing, buying & continued after sales. Highly recommend!

Bought Van two months ago now, seamless purchase start to finish, great handover with Sev, have had a couple of small issues on Warranty, which could not have been sorted quicker, and without even having to travel all the way back to Poole, by Iian, who always seems to be available whenever I have called, so thank you ALL very much, will be back when want to change camper for Motorhome.

From the buying of your motorhome, to the handover and even the after sales service, m.d.g have been the best company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Really unimpressed. Once they’ve got your money, that’s it! The vehicles are poorly looked after/maintained and they’re not interested in resolving the issues once you’ve driven away.

We bought our Motorhome from Three Counties Motorhomes 2 years ago, and have since had an impeccable service, both during the warranty period and beyond. The team are all extremely helpful, and pride themselves on giving customers a first class service. We’d highly recommend purchasing or servicing with them for a genuine trustworthy service.

We bought a motorhome end of last year from this company. (Appologise for the late review as we thought we had already done one)We have had 4 previous motorhomes/campers. But we have definitely had the best service from the sale to aftercare than we have had with any previous dealers. We can't praise them enough. We are Campsite Managers and hear a lot of bad experiences with purchases our guests make. But we can honestly say we highly recommend this company. For anyone considering a new purchases.

I recently purchased Nelson our new motorhome from MDG,,, saw the advert on line, contacted them and they agreed to hold the motorhome for me for a small refundable deposit as I was on holiday at the time, purchased him a week later and collected at the beginning of February. After a comprehensive handover and having had a few minor things sorted before collection I drove away more than satisfied. One month on and I noticed that the starter motor was starting to fail (something that wouldn't be picked up by any of the checks carried out by MDG). Contacted Lee and the team who agreed for me to get the job done under the warranty locally even though the part hadn't failed at the time. Had the work done today, paid the bill myself, emailed the invoice to the team at 16:15 and received the payment back into my account by 17:00.

Amazing service right from the start, would recommend anyone to this dealership if they are looking for a team that will support, stay in touch and go out of the way to help.

We bought our motorhome two years ago from M_D_G, a 6 year old Frankia. We took their 6 month all inclusive warranty, returning with our first issue a month later. There have been several since. Every problem has been dealt with professionally and with understanding, including one or two that they could have declined to deal with. I estimate that they've carried out £7k of remedial work. No ducking or diving, just good service. Thank you Iain and team.

My wife and I bought our campervan from MDG in March 2021. At the time the sales people couldn't do enough to make the sale, virtual tours, zoom calls, but once they had our money that was it. Not even a follow up call to see how we were getting on or ask for feedback about our experience with them.
We hen had a few snagging issues, which unfortuately turned into a long list of snagging issues - Engine, electronic control panel, lights...the list goes on. They were slow to respond, phone calls/emails etc unanswered, issues only partially rectified and then quibbling about others where parts are clearly faulty and are covered by warranty - Still trying to resolve and may now have to go legal route. Very dissapointing and left with the impression that they are only want your money. Once they have it, that's it. Strongly do not recommend.

My husband and I bought a Motorhome from MDG in 2012. We were dealt with in a very courteous and professional manner by Andy Spencer. Nothing was a problem and the handover was extensive and fully informational, especially as we were new to motorhoming. Since that time, on a few occasions, we have had to return to MDG, with issues, mainly due to our inexperience or lack of knowledge, however, each and every time, the staff have been friendly and approachable and always went out of their way to assist, advise and help or fix any issues we have had with our van. I have recommended them to my friends who have also purchased from them and who have also experienced a high level of customer care. Here we are in 2021 and MDG are still a completely professional and expert team who I would never hesitate to purchase from again in the future, although don’t tell our Motorhome that as she is so much part of our family! Well done MDG, you have a fantastic customer sales and after sales team and you have always gone that extra mile for us with patience and a sense of humour.

We found the right motorhome for us and made initial enquiries with MDG. As we live in Sunderland a.bit worried about buying from dealer so far away. Decided to purchase . Paid deposit and then arranged to properly view the Autocruise on a Friday to complete on the Monday. All went well and MDG really excelled in terms of customer service . Our Vehicle was in fantastic condition . Lots of nice touches from MDG like fully presented file with all docs in order . Thorough handover process. So if your reading this and considering a purchase we can 100% recommend MDG even if you live anywhere in the Uk they will come up with the service to totally satisfy your needs. Thanks MDG.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Don’t trust any negotiations with this company. They will sell vehicle from under you in mid negotiation like a cheap estate agent. Not even a courtesy call.

It was a very good day indeed when we bought our Burstner delphin from mdg, not only was the sale side extremely efficient, courteous and fair but the after sales has been second to non, even after 2 years! We cannot praise them nor thank them enough. Thanks to all the staff who helped install our new window.

I can honestly say, that I haven't come across a business of any type that has customer service like this.
We recently bought our first motorhome from Three Counties and from our first interaction have had nothing but an outstanding experience. Today marks the halfway point of our vehicle warranty when the leisure battery failed, within 2 hours (we were local) and on a Saturday we had a new one fitted and were the on our way.
We have just delivered it back for a few minor snags that we were encouraged to list. I have been driven to work updated throughout the morning and told its all done and when would i like to be collected!
Outstanding at every level, I would recommend these guys as every opportunity I get. Superb.
