One pair of shoes I received had been resoled and although the work was ok there was nothing in the description. I felt it was deceiving practice. The price also did not reflect this. Doesn’t make me want to do more business.

Shoe were extremely too small and not sturdy. I sent them back

I’m sharing my experience with TRR and asking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

I bought a pair of earrings worth about 2.4k through TRR’s New Jersey consignment store, and the shipment was handled by UPS. When the package arrived in my country, it was flagged by Customs due to an incorrect declared value. Instead of 200+ tax, I am being charged 2+k, because the value of the earrings was declared at 24k instead of 2.4k

I have contacted TRR multiple times over two weeks, often during US business hours, which unfortunately fall in the middle of the night where I live. Despite this effort, the responses were extremely unhelpful. I was repeatedly told to “go back to UPS,” even though UPS did not provide the declared value and cannot amend it without the shipper’s instruction.

TRR promised to correct the declaration, but no correction was actually made. This left me stuck going back and forth between TRR and UPS, with neither taking responsibility for resolving an error that I did not cause.

UPS could not clarify who exactly provided the incorrect customs declaration beyond “TRR”, and told me to go back to TRR.

Customs also informed me that I cannot pay the duties first and claim later. The declaration error must be corrected by TRR, as they arranged the shipment and provided the declared value.

As a customer, this has been frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing, especially from a company that deals in luxury goods and international shipments, where accurate customs documentation should be standard practice. This was supposed to be a Christmas present.

I’m in shock !! A thousand dollars shock !!!
There is no way that is a real Louis Vuitton purse !! I have 2 REAL Louis Vuitton purses and a wallet. I know my facts .
I could tell as soon as I took it out of the smashed cardboard box with no filling or purse in a plastic bag at least for protection Just a “ Real Real “ dust bag !
Not even a real Louis dust bag which I believe the information on the purse said it came with “ real “ dust bag and box …. I could be wrong about the box , but I am sure about everything else !!
The purse has no leather impression tag with the authentic name , purse number or chip on the inside . Actually there is nothing inside . Tage # or any other identification of any kind being authentic Louis Vuitton !! Anyone could tell the feel of the fake leather , no feet . Which all don’t have feet . The hardware should be engraved with the name of the purse .
The material inside feels like burlap. 😔
I’m so disappointed . I couldn’t wait for it to arrive. Well they say live and learn. I should have known better. But I wanted to be able to trust people at their word . The big disadvantage of ordering online and believing some people are honest …
So glad I didn’t order the designer watch for 3000.00 !!! I wanted !!
No returns , “ I wonder why” !?
Expensive lesson learned !!

I received my Louis Vuitton crossbody purchased and I was very disappointed. The condition provided by Therealreal was Very Good!!! The purse had a horrible smell, the inside and outside of the purse was so filthy and there were marks on the outside of the purse. Therealreal should provide accurate conditions on merchandise advertised due to clients making purchases based on accurate reviews.

They have so much to choose from. I've been waiting to buy a bag and some jewelry for a while, and decided to make the purchase. I was not disappointed. The bag looks pristine, and the jewelry piece looks just like the photo. The shipping was on time and the communication was great.
