Recently moved house and the guys moved the wood burner, stored it until we were ready for it to be installed in the new place and did an amazing job installing it. I couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism.

Happy with the communication in the run up to the install and very happy with the finished product.

There was an initial communication problem prior to the installation due to a change of staff however once resolved the team worked extremely hard removing the existing fireplace, re plastering and then fitting the wood burner. They also ensured the cleaned up properly afterwards and were very professional and provided a friendly service.

I am very happy with my wood burner, it looks amazing and is keeping us nice and warm during the cold spell.

From the moment they arrived they worked extremely efficiently in protecting all of the working area. The installation was completed quickly by two people who clearly new exactly what they were doing. I am SO delighted with the results of the work done by Simply Grate. For a long time I have been wanting a mantle and gas fire to replace the hole in the wall thing we had, and am now the proud possessor of a beautiful Hersham mantle with a lovely victorian gasfire insert. I did my homework getting several estimates. Simply Grate beat everyone else price-wise. Also, Danielle communicates everything really well and answers every little question which is something I really like. The installers were great. I was amazed at how little mess there was. Installation took just a few hours, and the next day the gas fitter came to fit the fire. Everyone arrived on time, and it was all easy peasy. I love the result and can't wait for Christmas to do a bit of mantle decorating. Thanks very much Danielle and all the guys. You did a great job, and we heartily recommend you to anyone who is looking for this kind of work to be done.

We are delighted with the supply and installation of a Portway log burner by Simplygrate. The work included a new flue liner and all the chimney connections and ancillary bits and pieces.
Marc and his crew were very professional and helpful having to clear some debris lodged in the main flue before completion.

Brilliant service from start to finish ,updates at every step in the process and we are extremely happy with our stove.

The experience we had with Simply Grate stoves & fireplaces was great! Kan was very kind and helpful to ensure we take our time to think and choose the right suit we want in the shop. Danielle is a brilliant lady who organised the fitting for us and kept us up to date with things and very nice to talk to and helpful on the phone. Also, the two gentlemen who came in and fitted the suit were very friendly and helpful to answer any question we had.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience from Simply Grate, we had a Wood Burning Stove fitted.

1) Fast - other companies quoted lead times of several months. Simply Grate told us they could do it 'next week' and I write this a week or so later and it's done.
2) Quality - Marcus and Wayne did an exceptional job. They were really friendly, respectful of us and our house and carried out all work with great care and to a great standard. The plasterer (forgive me forgetting your name!) was also friendly and efficient. All in all the work was done with no issues over 3 separate days.
3) Communication - Danielle was great to organise everything, keep me updated with the plan and ensure I was happy. Really top service all round

As a bonus, Marcus and Wayne also recommended a fix required on our chimney and even recommended a good roofer to come round and help us sort the problem. Couldn't recommend Simply Grate more - appreciated and thank you team!

The experience with " Simply Grate" started off with a bit of a rocky start in the showroom on a Saturday. But when the wheels went fully into motion, Danielle sorted a programme of work, and, when the guys started the job, went like clockwork. There was an issue with wrong bits and pieces being sent with the stove, however, the good communication links meant, all was sorted within hours.
In All, with Danielle dealing with Admin, and the guys on the ground doing a Sterling job, would recommend to use this company.
To add to the comments, it turns out the company was extremely busy at the time, and they did a grand job in programming the work in.
Didn't realise by the way, there was so much involved, in, what I thought was a simple task!
Definitely not the case.

Wood Burner Installation
I had a wood burning stove installed which also involved extending the chimney and enlarging the fireplace opening. Marcus and Wayne did a wonderful job. I’m so pleased with the work they’ve done and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Brilliant service from Simply Grate. The quality of installation, stove and follow-up care has been superb. Would not hesitate to recommend. It is a shame I cannot post a photo here as it looks fabulous! Very happy.

We have recently had a new Portway Arundel XL Stove installed by Simply Grate Stoves & Fireplaces. All the staff were very friendly and respectful in our home. The fitters found problems with our original fireplace which no one knew about and dealt with this very professionally. We would highly recommend them anytime without hesitation.

I am really happy with my new mantle and wood burner that was bought and installed by Simply Grate.
They had to take out an old 1930's fireplace out and put a lovely new one in.
I found Danielle as the point of contact really useful and she always responded back to my questions promptly.

As soon as i spoke to Danielle on the phone i had a good feeling, she was really knowledgable and helpful and considering it was during the restrictions i felt at ease that i was in safe hands.

Once i met Danielle & the fitter it was clear they knew there stuff and were even more helpful in person, they understood my budget restiction and helped me find somthing to suit that look & is amazing!

All sorted very quickly & thouroughy, the quote had lots of additional info images ext. & i was also able to visit the showroom before fitting.

The fitters were friendly and tidy & did a fantastic job of my new wood burner.

The whole process from start to finish was brilliant ! They listened to us as the customer . Friendly , professional and committed . Respectful in our home . The finished product is marvellous !
