Please avoid this agency at all costs!! I would rate them -5 stars, if I could. Most unprofessional and incompetent team!!

We applied for my parents UK tourist visa and it was an absolute nightmare! Please do take the time to read our experience to avoid you and your family being in our shoes!

We met up with this man named Ashit Christian initially in January and explained to him our situation and that their previous visa were rejected. He assured us that he will be able to reapply and that we could start the application process by the end of February. I returned to the UK with the impression Ashit would assist my parents, at the end of February I contacted him via email requesting to start the visa application process and requested a list of all the documents he will require from us and my parents. He ignored my emails and my parents phone calls and messages. We called the office multiple times requesting for him to call us back, however didn’t hear from him once, the common answer received was that he is busy and will call you back, however that never happened. After a good 2.5 weeks of chasing for a general call back we decided to speak to a manager.

We spoke to a lady named Laxmi who spoke to us saying she was a manager who took up our case.(Please note, her signature stated she was a general consultant and not a manager) anyways, we finally received an email from her requesting for a list of documents from us, which we provided within 2-3 days. Ironically, she went MIA as well until the end of March stopped answering any calls or emails. After a complaint email sent by myself, she emailed back not addressing our concerns but just that she would have a look at our documents.

A constant delay in getting back to us even after us explaining to them our situation and how we were working towards a timeframe for my parents to visit us due to us buying our first house in the UK and that we would like them to be there for our housewarming etc. the team at Riya Ahmedabad showed no signs of urgency or commitment towards our application. In April they filled in an application for me to check over which was filled in with multiple errors. Straight forward information like our home address was inputted incorrectly! Which clearly showed the application was filled in a rush. I personally picked out all the errors and submitted a whole page of corrections and explanations to be amended! Felt like I was doing her job for her. Please note at this stage she hasn’t even addressed the points mentioned in the rejection letters, after promoting her and sending her an email addressing the points myself she put together a justification letter.

I could really put in every detail on this review, however it would take multiple pages up to explain our appalling experience with Riya travels Ahmedabad!

The cherry on top after all that back and forth and months of chasing we finally managed to submit the application and after 2 weeks we received an outcome ((THE VISA WAS REJECTED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!)))

And guess what, the team didn’t have to decency to even address the situation nor bothered to answer our call as we wanted to inform them but they have gone ghost on us again as usual!!!

((((PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!

This is my 3rd trip with Riya Travels. The air tickets were booked in January for April travel plans. Our Manager's irresponsibility left half of our family stranded at the origin airport as airlines had cancelled the flight resulting in multiple pick up at the destination which was very unexpected for us. Inspite of the error caused by the agency we a group of females and kids were harrased by the Manager Babu Varghese for money which could have been handled on our return. His irresponsibility caused us mental trauma .Also to add on the itinerary was created with lesser sightseeing and ample time spent in the hotels. What a waste of time and money spent. As I had mentioned earlier it's my 3rd trip with Riya Travels, the second went very well .The first too had such irresponsible handling where in ticket had to be re booked personally few hours before the trip commenced. All with the same Manager. Thanks to his lack of accountability we have ended our relationship with Riya Holidays.

Excellent customer service . Staffs were very friendly and Tini was very thorough with every communication and we had our mum’s visa processed very swiftly .

Laboni@Riya travels has booked a few tickets for me over time. She is very courteous and caring and kept all my requests in mind to find the best flights possible. Including placing a wheelchair request for my Dad on my behalf, even if I forgot to mention it for the second booking.
She always returns the call as committed, is efficient and professional.

I was referred to Riya Travel by my local airline agent. Hemangi Shah from Riya Travel helped plan our trip to the East Coast. She did a wonderful job. This was the most memorable life experience for myself and my wife. We enjoyed each and every minute of the tour . I have a spoken to Hemangi about our next trip to Europe and she has already given me some information. Hemangi was always very polite and friendly whenever I communicated to her. She has vast knowledge about planning a tour. I wish her all the best in her career and l can tell that she is an asset for her company.

Availed their Singapore visa services twice and both the times the process was smooth and swift. Ms.Nancy pays attention to our requirements and then advise / assist on the rest. Happy with their service.

Travelled to Bali on jan 2024 had issues with my card as it was not working contacted mr naveen kumar from mangalore branch and he as always was very helpful he contacted the tour operaters of Bali and did the needful all I can say is Mr naveen kumar is a asset to riya

I have been with Riya travels for last 12 years and have referred more than 10 friends and family members to this company. However i contacted them this time after almost 5 years for bookings and turns out its been 2 weeks i have been chasing them and haven’t got needed help yet. Everytime i call i tell them what i am calling for and they would be like ok will get back to you in not more than 30 mins, unfortunately that never happens. I wait for almost 2 hours and then call them back and turns out the staff member i talked with last time is gone for the day. So I explain my situation to other member, now this person is ok i will escalate your concerns to the management and someone shall call you in next 2 hours. It’s been 2 days now, no one has bothered to get back to even email. Worst customer service. A BIG NO to Riya travels.

I have bought a couple of business travel tickets with riya travels in the past three months. I was looked after by Manisha a customer service consultant with them. Her services for purchase , requesting services like special food seat selection and alternatives was top class along with very prompt service. If you are looking for reasonably priced travel along with great service I will highly recommend their services in particular Manisha.

Very bad experience. Since 1 month I am asking them to apply for German student visa, totally misguided and made me wait for 15 days without even booking appointment. Now there are not slots and I am clueless why they did this. I lowt 1 educational year of my life. You will pay for my loss. God will make you pay sooner or later.

V had planned our vacation to Mysore from Riya travels, Mangalore. Hotel arrangements were good. Itinerary prepared was good. The main problem was with the driver who was reckless n liar. Even after telling the driver to b slow, he was least bother. And on top of that he was arguing that there is a steering problem. On Coorg ghat he was controlling the vehicles only with brake n putting it in neutral, which is very dangerous.
We almost got killed in Mysore because of his negligence driving. The worst part was that he fell asleep on the steering. V were about to crash the vehicle but at the last minute my husband woke him up n he braked.
After that v informed the Riya travels, Mangalore about it. But inspite of changing the driver, they continued with him.
I vl not only blame the driver but also Riya travels who hired the agency. It is their duty n responsibility to safeguard the interest of the passenger.
V always planned our vacation from Riya travels, Manipal. They r more efficient and responsible. This time the tour incharge of Manipal was on leave, so they transferred the responsibility to Mangalore branch.
V were not knowing that Mangalore branch people r so lethargic.
