Terrible experience on 9/10/24 trying…
Terrible experience on 9/10/24 trying to park my car at 315 East 38th St in New York. I arrived at 7am, and the parking attendants yelled and screamed at me because they thought my car was too big to park. At no point did the app or website indicate that "slightly" oversized vehicles couldn't park there. Either way, there was no need to be rude and abusive - they made no effort to calmly explain that I couldn't park there, and instead chose to yell and scream at me the moment I drove in. I'm reconsidering using Icon parking garages in the future, and certainly will never park at this particular garage. I never received a refund for my prepaid reservation and would like to. I was unable to navigate on the app to attempt to dispute the charge, and no one picked up the phone when I tried calling multiple times. Can someone please get back to me?

Attentive staff
Very attentive staff (I.e.. Nathan). I had both a 24 hr reservation and a follow-up reservation the next day for an additional 6 hrs. Nathan totally got it and explained what I needed to do and when I needed to come by “check out” and then “check in” again. Garage was also of ample size for easy maneuvering in and out.

I arrived at the lot and they didn't…
I arrived at the lot and they didn't let me in. I tried asking why, he waived his hand for me to leave. I had to park across the street for full price by your competition. I tried to get a refund but the app didn't let because the reservation time had started. That is the truth. I was very disappointed by this experience.

The men who park the cars are gentlemen. They are friendly and quick and take good care of my new car. They always ask how I am and are smiling no matter how busy the place is.

Overpriced
I always rely on icon to offer fair prices, and love to use the app to reserve my parking. As I was walking from the parking lot, I saw THREE cheaper places, INCLUDING the valet parking at my destination! In addition, I asked them to scan my reservation when I got there, like they always do, but they said, we’ll scan it later, and then I got charged twice because of a poor communication when I picked up my car. Very disappointed. I cannot trust Icon .
