Misleading but okay customer service.
I decided to try Herons again. Hoping that I had an unusual bad experience the first time.
I bought 2 trees online.
The trees themselves are fairly good quality, although they have a lot of insects hatching from the soil – not ideal for indoor trees.
However, I ordered a tree with a cream pot. Nowhere on there site does it state that the colour of the pot may vary. They do warn that the tree may be different, which is fine, I expect that.
When it arrived, the pot was blue. Which, I think is misleading and very disappointing.
I contacted the sales team and they told me I can return the tree (at my expense) or buy a cream pot from them.
I complained that this wasn't really a good solution and they offered to send me a second hand white/cream pot free of charge as compensation. Which i believe is fair.
Not exactly perfect but the customer service was okay, after i complained a little.

I get the most incredible service here. Their trees are the best. The people who take order, dispatch communicate on a level far higher than any other. I wondered how you transport a tree safely. Herons does it so well, I will never doubt the delivery. Bonsai trees take a lot of care. Herons treat their customers with the equal care.
Unrelated. I was frustrated with the lack of interest and no service by a local business. I asked them to order anything from Herons. Then they will see how customer service should be delivered. THE secret, communication.
You have my loyalty and set the bar for how service can be done.

Excellent Bonsai
Excellent Bonsai, arrived healthy and very well packaged. The tree was exactly as pictured on their website. Superb value too! I'd recommend Herons to anyone looking for high quality trees online.
