Ruth Munoz and David Pendry were incredible. Very clear and helpful along the way from start to finish, as a first time buyer this process was completely new to me. Both were incredibly supportive in answering any questions I had or explained anything I was unsure about. Nothing was to much trouble and clearly they work very hard and long hours to get people over the line. A real pleasure to have them help me get my first mortgage I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a poor experience with Censeo Financial during the required financial assessment process.

I was questioned about my credit score in a way that suggested a lack of understanding of how credit scoring works, which didn’t inspire confidence.

They pushed me to buy a larger share of a Shared Ownership property than I was comfortable with, presenting it as “affordability”, even though it would have meant higher monthly payments and greater long-term cost. They also implied that the estate agents might reject my application if I didn’t buy the maximum share deemed affordable, which felt like unnecessary pressure rather than balanced advice.

There was also a strong attempt to upsell additional paid services, including fees to handle the mortgage and to join their service so they could contact me about remortgaging in the future.

Overall, the experience felt more focused on upselling and pushing maximum affordability rather than providing impartial, client-focused guidance.

Ended up using someone else instead once the financial assessment was successful.

I would definitely recommend Censeo as a first time buyer. Both David and Ruth have been friendly and patient with me. They have always explained things very clearly and have kept me up to date throughout.

Jack Stanton has been absolutely fantastic throughout my entire mortgage process.

He is extremely patient and always takes the time to explain everything clearly, especially as English is not my first language. During phone calls, he made sure we fully understood each step, which really gave us confidence.

Both Jack and Jodie were very responsive throughout the process, and all information was communicated clearly and promptly via email. This made everything much easier to follow and kept the process running smoothly.

All process was quick and easy . They always responded to our emails . They tried they best to find a deal for us ,even I wasn’t believing already after we failed with our companies . They were recommended to us us by the Housing association and we were doubtful to start with, but David and Jodie were so patient and explained everything and never felt pressure to go with them but we did and both very happy to help with any questions we had email or phone always available especially Jodie. We got our mortgage offer and half way there but happy to know that when time would come for remortgaging they will be ready to call.

Omg how do I start , when you feel all hope is gone and never taught you will reach your destination , there comes censeo who turned my dreams into reality . Censeo are fantastic for first time buyers, I could not recommend them enough.

If you’re starting out on the property ladder, you’re undoubtedly going to have a whole new vocabulary thrown at you - like everyone’s speaking another language that you’re not privy to. The team at Censeo break all of that down and really work with you to get you where you need to be. David & Jodie completely took the fear and anxiety out of navigating mortgage applications - plus, the Censeo club offer is a must. Knowing I’ll get a call when my current mortgage rate comes to an end to help me find a new one? Perfect.

Overall good experience, from initial meeting with Chris. G who explained everything in layman’s to Mercedes .R who kept us updated on the progress of the mortgage application, did not have to chase for an update which I appreciate the most. Will def use their services again in the future.
