I have nothing but bad things to say

I have nothing but bad things to say. But this review is about their evil price increases. I only switched to AMC+ because the price of Shudder went up. So, since Shudder is included, might as well get AMC+. What a mistake. Long story short, constant rate increases. I'm locked into a year at $109, but new subscribers can get a year for $29. I can't wait for my year to be over so I can never do business with these clowns again.

AMC+ Australia A Waste of Money

I wanted to watch Season 2 of Sanctuary A Witches Tale which was supposed to be available on AMC+ in Australia. I paid for a subscription however only one episode waa available. On Prime however all episodes were able to be screened at a cost. It does seem to be a scam . Needless to say i did try another show but the streaming process is very flawed and most frustrating. I cancelled AMC and deleted the app. Definitely would NOT recommend wasting your money. Do not know how they have managed to stay in business.

BEWARE! I continued to be charged after canceling!

I cancelled my subscription, got a confirmation screen saying my subscription was cancelled and that I would no longer be charged. Yet, I was still charged the next month. When I went to my account, it stated that my subscription was still active! Fortunately I had taken a screenshot of the cancellation confirmation page, as I received no email confirmation and otherwise could not prove I had cancelled. I am still waiting for the refund and to see if I am charged again.

Started a one week free trial to find that I can watch seasons 1&3 of the show I wanted to watch... LOL good job showing me that I want NOTHING to do with your streaming service!

My service doesn’t work on any of my devices.
I contacted them and weeks later received email saying, we are busy and will get back to you. Waited 2 weeks and sent a email and asked what’s up. A day later they sent an email saying, we cannot help with your problem.

I've had an amc+ subscription on Australia for some time. I've watched all the Anne Rice series and was anxiously awaiting Talamasca. Despite the series being produced by amc, it isn't available on amc in Australia, instead I've had to pay to watch it on Apple TV. Salada amc, no more money is coming your way for another subscription to your platform. Learn a lesson, customers are fickle and one shit move costs you.

Predatory practice


Hello. I have attempted to cancel my subscription for nearly a year as of today. Each attempt has been futile, as I have canceled the subscription and still been charged the next month. The most recent time I took a screenshot to confirm my suspicions of possible predatory practices by the AMC Network. To confirm my suspicions, I read my latest billing statement and well, well, well. There it was, an AMC + Monthly charge for something that I canceled per the screenshot. I then emailed support thinking I would receive help. All I received was a person telling me I had an active subscription despite what I had just told them. I wish I had this person on the phone to hear their panic in his voice when I uploaded a screenshot that contradicted what he was reading and confirmed the AMC Networks predatory practice. Not only did he not help, he CANCELLED my already cancelled subscription and stated that I would not be billed anymore. Despite the screenshot that he read, I AM STILL BEING CHARGED FOR SOMETHING I CANCELLED. He stated that I would receive an email confirming my cancellation to which I have not. I will be seeking legal representation to expose the AMC Network's predatory practices.

The only reason I pay for amc+…

The only reason I pay for amc+ streaming is so I can watch Dark Winds. Their movie selection on all of their platforms is horrible. The series selection is also worthless. After Dark Winds finishes I again will cancel until next year.

This would have to be the worst…

This would have to be the worst streaming app going. Impossible to get through even one show without it totally freezing my TV screen. Then the only way to escape the frozen screen is to turn the TV off and on again. This will happen 3 to 4 times EVERY time I try to watch something. It's also difficult to unsubscribe. Avoid this app like the plague. I would give negative 5 stars if I could, it's that bad

The cancelation procedure is cumbersome

The cancelation procedure is very cumbersome. Even enlisting the support, via the joining platform proved extremely time consuming. I strongly recommend NOT providing any financial information to join this steaming service.
I foresee a class action lawsuit for difficulty to cancel...just like A-Z

Stop editing the movies

AMC tv ch not for plus but maybe they show old movies like national Christmas vacation and take the word the famous word shit out of the movie as everyone knows the word they need to stop editing the words to a movie kids will know the word with all the other app and stuff play the movie as it was written

This streaming service is deceptive

This streaming service is deceptive. This service has a couple interesting shows and advertises cheap prices. Great, so you can sign up, watch the show you want and then cancel. Nope: they take the year's worth up front. And what's worse is that they don't have much else worth watching; you just paid a year's worth for a streaming service with next to nothing on it. And that's besides the buggy interface and billing: never worth the price unless you exclusively watch slashers.

AMC+ apparently does not believe in…

AMC+ apparently does not believe in offering customer assistance over the phone! Why should I be surprised! Every time now when I try to get the "Madmen" series, I am constantly getting a message in red that says that my email address or password is incorrect. This has been going on now for well over two weeks. I cancelled this morning, Oct. 21st and frankly should credited for the 2+ weeks I've been charged FOR NOT BEING ABLE to watch the series. If I could give a zero star review I would!!! Absolutely horrible streaming service! The annoying intermission music between commercials will drive you insane!! And the they will play one commercial at least 5 times in a row! The streaming experience is horrible!!! You loose sound when a program comes back from commercial break. The only positive thing about AMC is FearFest in October! After the month is over I'm cancelling!! Do not waste your money!!! They need to figure it out or they will loose a lot of customers!!!

AMC+ Stealing from it's subscribers

If I could give this streaming service a zero I would. I canceled my subscription through Google on Aug 15, 2025, tell me why AMC+ has been taking money from my checking account for two months. Contacted them and the agent says he can only refund me one month, I said no you're nit I want my money. He put me on a brief hold and came back to say good news I can give you both months. You knew you could do it but you thought I was just gonna give you money for free. NOT ME BUDDY, YOU NOT GETTING RICH OFF ME AND I CAN'T WATCH THE SERVICE.
