Being a National School in West Cork, we considered solar offerings from five different providers. Alternative Energy was very helpful throughout the entire process and also had a very competitive price. They were very accommodating in scheduling the installation around the school schedule. They arrived on time and worked smoothly throughout the day completing the project in a timely manner. They worked in an efficient and friendly manner and did a great job of cleaning up the school after the installation was completed. Very happy with the staff and their workmanship.

Saw a neighbour getting an installation done,so,i approached the guys & asked for a quote. Jerome discussed my needs & had a price for me within days. I then got a quote from another local company who were over £1000 dearer, so,we proceeded with Alternative Energy.

Installation done in one day, all the myenergi hardware fitted as requested. All up & running. Seriously,check out the Eddi from Myenergi,some piece of kit.

Not one problem, everything sorted, from the smart monitoring system to registering for export with Power Ni......

id thoroughly recommend these guys.

It’s been a seemless effective operation to get my panels up and running. Excellent on site work.

All in all the experience was excellent. That said there was a misunderstanding at the beginning concerning pricing and system manufacture but 'obviously' that was corrected :-) .
Installation schedule was as planned with no unscheduled delays. The installers were professional and social and helpful with all querries and concerns.

We use a lot of electricity. Also our experiences of providers have not been that good so wanted to make ourselves as independent as practical. We obtained quotes from two companies. "Alternativeenergy" came two or three times, outlined clearly our possibilities, answered our questions satisfactorily and seemed able to give us what we hoped for and at a reasonable price. Having agreed and paid our deposit they kept pretty well to the schedule they had promised, installed with the minimum of disruption and in a reasonable timescale . The finished result, batteries and inverters etc look very professional indeed and I am sure will add to the value of our house. More to the point the app which the installers helped us put on the ipad show that the system appears to be working very well, even tho' we are midwinter. Now we just await the effect on our bills!

Excellent company to deal with from start to finish. Ladies in the office were very helpful before and after the work was done with making sure our paperwork was in order for our grant. The lads that completed the job were very professional, in and out with no disturbance and no mess. Overall very happy with this company and our ESB savings since the installation, would definitely recommend.

An absolutly flawless experience from start to finish. The quote was very cometative and the quality of workmanship outstanding. We were very keen to install solar panels but didn't really know too much about them. The first company we went to were useless and couldn't be bothered. These guys are really really good. The installation of the panels, inverter and iboost system is incredible. I had lots of worries steaming from cutting holes in our roof and the connection of electricity. The job that was completed all in one day is amazing and very professional. All the paper work for the SEAI grant went smoothly. I strongly recommend Alternative Energy.

From quotation stage with John, to on site meetings with Ronan and the project engineers and architect team. Ronan and his team provided an excellent and efficient service. We would be delighted to work with this company again.
