Warning: Inconsistent stories, missing updates, and zero delivery progress
Ordered sandals weeks ago and Aetrex has held onto my money with absolutely no shipping progress. The communication is an absolute mess. I received an official email claiming my order was delayed solely due to "high order volume." However, when I called customer service, the agent gave a completely different story, claiming there was a "system outage."Worse yet, the support team cannot give a straight answer on delivery. Yesterday, I was told the package simply "missed" its carrier pickup. Today, they cannot even confirm if it will actually make today’s pickup. There are no live tracking updates, no concrete estimated time of delivery, and zero transparency. Aetrex is charging credit cards immediately but failing to provide basic fulfillment or honest communication. Do not buy directly from their site right now.

I do not recommend this company to anyone that expects an order to be fulfilled within the advertised 48 hour period or no later than 3-4 days after purchase. I ordered shoes on April 22nd and began contacting customer service after day 4 and the website still showing my order as being “processing”. I have repeatedly requested a cancellation of the order without resolution. Tonight, via chat, I was told a cancellation of orders must be received within 2 hours of ordering. I was told I could return the shoes for a refund after I receive them. Do I trust I would ever see a refund, ABSOLUTELY NOT!! This is not a reputable company, I will never purchase Aetrex products in stores or online. The worst experience I have ever had with an online purchase. Want some great shoes, quick delivery and wonderful customer service…..Dansko and Born are winners!

I ordered 2 pairs of sandals on 4/7 and chose no rush shipping since I wouldn't need them until end of the month. 2 weeks later, there has been zero movement from the company and the order is showing "processing". On 4/22 a USPS label was created which was shared with me on 4/23 when I spoke with customer service. I asked to change shipping to expedited or cancel the order, which both were refused, and the customer service agent kept telling me "don't worry" because she'll keep an eye on my order.
Do not recommend and will be sharing the information with my podiatrist so she doesn't recommend the shoes to other patients.

DO NOT BUY FROM AETREX. Rampant disorganization. Order a shoe and insole. I noticed that at the end of the 3rd business day it still had not shipped. i requested it to be canceled. Online help saud they could not. I emailed next day and they said they would. Now 9 days later they tell me again that they can not cancel it even though 6 days before they said they would. That I have to received it and then return it. NOTE: their website still says it is being processed. And the agent added an Amazon link to return it but I did not buy it from Amazon. I bought from the Aetrex website. Myborder number and confirmstion is from Aetrex. I already bought it from another Brand as I needed the shoe sooner. So now all this time wasted. Calling the credit card company to cancel the charge, dispute it, back and forth online messaging and emails c with the Aetrex company. No shoe and a huuuuge amount of wasted time!
Shipping and delivery information is false
Placed an order and after 9 days the order states "unfulfilled" on my account. Credit card charges were processed. I contacted customer twice after a week and each time they state that the order is at the warehouse and they will contact me within 48 hours with an update. Each time after the 48 hours with no contact I get the same information. They will not cancel the order because they state it has been processed.
Nice shoes but totally bogus information on their shipping and delivery process. I'll never order from them again.

I own at least a dozen Aetex shoes, most in leather. They are SUPER comfy for my high arch feet. They not only provide support for high arches, but tilt the entire foot (gently) out to where it needs to be. I can walk for hours in Aetrex sandals, boots, loafers with zero issues. They are pricey but I think well worth it and they do have great sales. My foot is a true 7.5 and I order sandals that exact size and boots one size up to accommodate nice wool socks.

Poor shipping and disingenuous customer service. I ordered insoles on Dec 11. To date, on Dec 22, the USPS tracking shows that USPS is still awaiting the item. I contacted customer service with representatives in the Philippines numerous times, who without any foundation, blame it on the postal service, even telling me that the post office does not work on Saturdays. I will ask my credit card company to dispute the charge if nothing happens soon.

If I know that you lied about your products come from different continents I would have never order fom you, you make that clear on the UK website. Laughable Customer Service
I placed an order on aetrex.com on 11/18 with no rush delivery which is listed as 4-10 business days. Order shipped on 11/21, on 11/25 there was a "delay" with not a single update until 12/2 when my order was delivered BACK TO THEIR HQ in NJ with no attempt at delivery to me. Customer Service confirmend the had my correct address listed as shipping address and sent an inquiry to their shipping department to investigate saying someone would get back to me within 24 hours. 12/3 I recieved an email that the "package was undeliverable" and the boots I ordered were now SOLD OUT and they were refunding them and sending the sneakers back to me. Unless they were damaged in transit you have the pair of boots that I ordered because you shipped them to me did you not-therefore they should not be sold out. I will never order from them again and will be letting my Ortho know not to reccomend unless he specifies to only shop brick and mortar because this has been a top 3 worst online shopping experience and customer service for me,

Amazingly Comfortable
I have been buying shoes from aetrex for years. No one produces shoes this comfortable or stylish in the market.
Bad Service Bad Product
1. Product: the insoles are not comfortable, and the metatarsal pad is in the middle of the foot, it puts more pressure and pain on the metatarsal. This is quite sad, as the product is advertised as an orthotic, but they do not seem to know the foot well enough. I've tried others as well and the first pair caused my metatarsal pain in the first place. Thus if you want to worsen your problem, I would advise buying from them.
2. Returns/service - they offer no hassle returns. You will pay at least 5.00 restocking fee. Every place I've shopped that has great products will refund you the full value, thus it is not a NO Risk purchase.
I gave them multiple opportunities to make it right, but they refused and had quite the attitude about it. I will Gladly take my business elsewhere.
Aetrex Customer Service is terrible
Aetrex has shown my item "awaiting arrival at the USPS facility" for 8 days. When I inquire, I get scripted replies from what is probably a chat bot. No explanation as to why it is taking so long to "arrive at the postal facility" and when I question whether the item is even in stock, I get a scripted answer that it is in stock. in less than 90 days there was a hole in the right shoe but no hole in the left shoe. Attempted to take them back to DILLARDS the store mgr refused to refund them or exchange them now my right big toe is scraping the ground while walking and causing my toe to twitch involuntarily when i take the shoe off it’s painful at times

Ordered a pair of white leather sneakers back in early May. Turns out they were too small. Returned the sneakers for a half size larger and they were TOO BIG. Called Customer Service repeatedly to get a return shipping label for the second pair of sneakers. Almost a month has passed and still have not received the return label or refund. Called Customer Service again, was told the issue would be passed on the Returns Teams (they would call me in 24-48 hours). Never received a call back so I called again, only to find out that they had recorded multiple calls for the return label and don't know why nothing has been done. This has now been passed on to the Processing Team for follow up and a call back in 24 - 48 hours. NOT HOLDING MY BREATH !!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!! PLEASE SHARE WITH A FRIEND !!!!!!!!!!!!

Highly disappointed with the quality, the flip flop broke into pieces in few months only. After spending so much money it didn’t even last for a year. And customer care is not even ready to accept their mistake and provide replacement.

Slow processing and delivery
Similar to the other reviews, processing and shipping times are lengthy. Which would be okay if the company was upfront about that, but they aren't. The website says 24-48 hours for processing, it took 5 business days. I chose No rush delivery which is supposed to take 3-7 days. It's been 8 days and there's no tracking information available for the last 4 days. There's no ETA on my $400 purchase. Just be aware that there is very little recourse if your package doesn't show up because Mail Innovations lost it. I won't be buying anything from Aetrex again. If I do receive my shoes, I'll return them if possible. Although, I'm guessing that will be a huge hassle too.
